Newport Apartment Homes

I believe these apartments to be the best value in Portland at the present time. They were built as upscale condominiums, so the finishes are high-​quality and fantastic. The design is modern with classical touches, and very attractive. There is central A/​C and heating, something very few apartments in the Portland area can boast, and most of those cost several times as much and are either in the Pearl District or South Waterfront (SoWa). The soundproofing and insulation is the best I’ve experienced in an apartment building (likely from their condo origins) — monthly costs for electric during the summer, even cooling a thousand square feet, were minimal. Things might change satisfaction-​wise once full capacity is reached, but right now this is a wonderful place to live.
