New York Nail

First time at this place and I was impressed with my shellac manicure. It has lasted weeks! The owners were friendly and although I had to make an appointment, they were right on time.
The cleanliness of the tools seemed good but the location could use a good scrubbing overall.

They’re great here. Hard to get it but probably because they’re awesome. Leon does awesome work but super busy and I didn’t like that they said I couldn’t bring in my children

Yesterday was a BIG day for my sister. Her first outing after being back here in Portland and she asked me to take her for manicure, pedicure, and eyebrows. I told her «lets use Unilocal». Turned out that New York Nails was right around corner.
It was a great experience and they were very accommodating. Even though it was closing time they sqeezed us both in and stayed late.
I’m from Seattle and I feel that this review was worth writing. 1) Great prices 2) Great service 3) Thorough manicure & pedicure. 4) Super clean & sanitary 5) Friendly & accommodating. !!
My sister will returning for future services and if I’m back from Seattle… I will definitely be back !

Been here a few times with pretty good results, but my sister is a regular here. After this last trip though, my would be 4 star review, got bumped up to 5 stars. Everyone is super friendly and they’re usually busy (always a good sign!). Henry is a pro at manis and Linh is great at pedis. She’s also ridiculously talented when it comes to hand painted nail art. I believe her mom works there now too. I didn’t catch her name, but she was the one that gave me my pedi last week.
Let me tell you… After wearing sandals all summer, my feet were pretty rough and tough. This woman worked magic. I’ve had pedis before, but my heels were usually still on the «harder» side. (Is that weird to say? Ok… Maybe a little, but I’m sure you know what I mean.) By the time my pedi was over, I was sleepy. It was such a relaxing experience and my feet felt soooooo soft. All over soft and smooth. My toe nails were trimmed to perfect little curved squares and the polish came out fantastic! Not one smudge, streak or bubble. Just a gorgeous, shiny deep purple. She was amazing.
The place isn’t much to look at, but it’s clean, the people are nice and prices are more than reasonable for what you get. I think a pedi is like $ 20 (+$ 2 for the files if you didn’t bring your own.)

This place was recommended to me and it’s been great. They’re all really nice and good at their job. Also another reason I like this place, they are less expensive than everyone else I’ve been to over the years.

This is my favorite nail salon. Henry and Lynn run this personable salon. They are friendly and do really great work. Tammy has been doing my nails for nearly 2 years. She is gentle and very talented with nail designs. This is a small, clean and friendly neighborhood salon. It is not fancy but they do fantastic work for very reasonable prices.
