We were in the market for a new big boy bed for our 4 year old son and wanted a trundle so we could have the extra bed to pull out when needed. After reviewing all sorts of online options, full of particle board, and shotty construction, we came across Natural Furniture and couldn’t be happier. Rick over there got us in touch with one of his local builders who custom built this piece for us. It’s beautiful, custom made, with real wood, and excellent construction. It’s got a row of drawers as well for extra storage and I can tell it is built to last. Definitely would recommend this locally made, high quality furniture over the nonsense you can get elsewhere. Furthermore, we ended up paying less for this piece then we would have spent through the online option.

Bought an unfinished bookcase here. Staff was friendly and helpful, even disassembled and helped load it in my car! The piece was well-crafted, here in Oregon, easy to assemble, and ready to finish. It’s a beautiful addition to our home. They also offer a wide array of other home furnishings at reasonable prices. The wood has beautiful grain and I couldn’t spot anything but good quality workmanship.

Great Mom/Pop service. We could not give them 4 stars since we had a few issues. 1 being that our chairs to our new dining table were actually made in Thailand, however we were told US. 2. There were missing part and pieces to an order. However they did resolve it quickly. We will go back for more items in the future since we love the natural wood and staining ourselves. Next time we will do further investigation on manufactures of items that are already stained.

We purchased a matching pine bed and dresser in 2011 for well over $ 1000 and I have to say I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the furniture and the finish. We were assured that the pieces are glued and stapled, and that the joint is as strong as dovetail. That was inaccurate, all of the joints are only stapled. One drawer front has pulled away from the drawer box such that the drawer no longer slides true. The bed has actually collapsed — the rail holding the slats pulled out of the side rail(it was only stapled, no glue there at all). I have had to rebuild the bed. We had them finish the pieces(the bed is quite large and would be beyond my ability). The quality of the finish is not great — it is a rich color applied well, but there isn’t nearly enough polyurethane on it to make it a durable piece, especially not with such a soft pine. I can see that I will eventually have to sand and refinish, or paint the piece.

I have purchased several pieces of my furniture from NF over the years and have always been pleased with the value of what I get. I like the fact that the store is low-pressure and they will let you roam around without bothering you every fifteen seconds. Very low-key.

okay, i admit it, i’m a complete nerd. i’m addicted to reading and we’re running out of bookshelves. enter Natural Furniture to the rescue – i’m afraid of the winding snake routes at Ikea altho those swedes sure make tasty meatballs! the staff are very knowledgeable about wood and finishes and super-patient if you suffer from hem-haw-itis. ended up with a heavy duty oak bookshelf that’s spendy but will survive subsequent moves – laminate chips, falls apart, and doesn’t taste as good. returned another that didn’t fit the space – they were nice enough to find their store receipt for us after we misplaced ours. if we’re ever in the market for dressers will probably come back – well built with sturdy glides, clean lines, and you can finish it yourself to match. they’ll deliver for $ 65 extra(ouch) and the inventory is somewhat limited(if they don’t have it in stock it takes 6 – 8 wks for their mom & pop suppliers to make it) so 3 instead of 4 stars.
