Had them remove a 30′ Oregon Ash from our side yard. Prompt, neat, did a good job and the price was right.

Out of three bids, these guys were $ 600 — $ 900 less than their competitors which left me nervous. After reading their inconsistent reviews online, I still couldn’t resist their low price. The crew just left our home and I couldn’t be any happier. They went above and beyond my original request without me asking, did additional work upon request, and cleaned up every last leaf on my driveway, deck, and yard. In addition, they were friendly and prompt. Peter had me scheduled within just a couple of days after the estimate, and they only charged me another $ 25 for the extra work. My yard looks FANTASTIC.

We asked to have our Japanese maple by our front door trimmed. We were told that the«shrub» in front of the maple would need to be cut to the ground. I assessed how this would look and agreed.(These shrubs are paired, 2 in front of each window.) When I checked to see how the other major pruning was progressing, the workers had removed 2 of the shrubs, leaving an empty space below one window. I called the owner. When he returned the call, he said I had agreed to this. I had only agreed to the removal of one shrub.(This was also how it was stated on the bid.) Because the Japanese maple now looked ridiculous, I had it removed. The owner agreed to dig out the roots of the cut shrubs so we can replace them at OURCOST. When we do replant, the new shrubs will not match the mature ones below the other window. I am very disappointed. We were hoping to improve the curb appeal of our home. After my husband paid the $ 760 bill, I saw the vine maple on the other side of our front door. They had thinned it but left scrawny shoots that were well above our eaves – unbelievably goofy looking. My husband had to trim these because he didn’t want to deal with the business anymore.

Getting my tree removal appointment scheduled took a few too many steps, but once we had a time down, the crew showed up right on time. It took about three hours total for them to trim, chop, stump-grind, and chip a large-ish apple tree, and they even cleaned up after themselves. Not a splinter of wood was left on my driveway when they were done. Due to a misunderstanding, they hauled away the wood chips instead of leaving them on site for me. Peter called back pretty soon after they’d left to explain why that had happened, and to offer to have a whole truckload of wood chips brought to me within a few days instead. So while i did have to wait an extra little while for my wood chips, i got about 10 times more than i would have if they’d left only what my tree turned into(which was good — if i’d wanted less, they could have given me a partial truck load). And since the tree was such a rotten mess, they also gave me a discount on the stump grinding, as it went much faster and more easily than it would have if it had been healthy. Next time i need a tree taken down, i’ll call Multnomah Tree Experts.
