Normally a one-​star rating would be a bit harsh, I would have given him two. However upon realizing that he clearly paid
to get rid of my review regarding his poorly done Juvederm injections, his dishonesty docked him the final star.
I found him on
which I’m sure many of you have heard of (normally wouldn’t mention this site but this is how Dr. Kim recruits most of his clients)). People rely on the site to find info for plastic surgeons. Well Michael Kim has absolutely glowing reviews all over the site with a 5-​star rating. I booked a Juvederm appointment feeling confident all would be great.
He way overinjected my top upper left lip, and also left several lumps which he never massaged out. When I went to go see him he played it off like it was normal but it was CLEARLY overinjected. I was embarassed to go out. I had to go to a different doctor to resolve everything despite already wasting $ 650 on uneven, lumpy injections.
I left a review on the realself site he uses in less than 24 hours it was gone. How dishonest can you be to let people risk ruining their face to make a quick buck?
He was a nice enough dude in person I guess. But being nice won’t make your injections even

Dr. Kim is an extremely skilled surgeon. He did an amazing job on my upper and lower eyelids. It has been 6 months since my procedure and I couldn’t be happier. Most people can’t see any residual scars or pulling. I have had excellent follow up care and continue to appreciate all of his, and his support staffs, (Kay Ford and Sarah Stewart) assistance. Kay and Sarah always make my visits smooth and stress free. If you’re reading this review, the most important detail I can share is, Dr Kim does restorative surgery – he is that good!!! He does not finance because he cares about his clients enough to not put added debt on an elective surgery. (Insurance is different). My point is, Dr Kim is more concerned about being a doctor who provides excellent care vs. making the almighty dollar. He has exemplary character. He’s also a Seattle Mariners fan loyal even for season 2015;-)
I highly recommend Dr. Kim.

I HEART DR. KIM!!! I went in for our consultation with a laundry list of stuff I was unhappy with — he listened carefully, asked great questions, and then recommended a very minimal treatment plan that was seriously like 10% of the cost & effort of what I thought I wanted. I appreciate his conservative approach to surgery and that he actually recommended against several things — he’s not all about money money money the way some surgeons are and I felt he truly has my best interests in mind.
I went ahead with his recommendations and couldn’t be happier with my results — I look nearly a decade younger! I may one day go in for one of the procedures we discussed — and if/​when I do, Dr. Kim will be my surgeon for sure. Fantastic!
