Massage Naturally

I have been seeing Kim off and on for massage for years. This location is fantastic. The rooms are well-​appointed and quiet, with a calming waiting room to help one transition to their massage appointment. Kim always takes the time to check in on how I am doing, mentally and physically, whether it’s been two weeks or two years since my last appointment, and it’s been both! =)
She listens to me on what hurts or is a location I have questions about on my body, and works deeply. It’s not a soft, lalala massage and not a overly painful session, it’s in the middle with a touch that feels wonderful but firm, and I know she’s getting in there and working on the problem areas. I can be talkative, or silent, and either is comfortable. It’s a treat when I can afford it, as well as being something I know is positive to my overall well-​being. Her prices are fair, and buying a group of appointments in a package to save some money makes it something within my reach for my own health.
I am delighted to have found Kim so many years ago and to find her business still thriving, clearly because she knows her stuff and works hard to get all my muscles and joints in good working order.

I went to Kim for a massage last week and have already booked my next visit. Massages for me are all about relaxing and working out whatever kinks I’ve built up over time. Kim did exactly that for me.
Massage Naturally is a nice office space with multiple massage rooms where the various massage therapists work. Each space has its own look and feel. It was a little noisy the day I was there, but I think that was unusual. And even so, I lost myself in the massage and the peacefulness of the room.
What impressed me the most about Kim is that she took the time to understand what I wanted out of the massage and was very personable and made me feel at ease.
To each his/​her own. We all have specific things we’d like out of a massage and not all therapists will be a match for all clients. For me, Kim fit the bill and I’d recommend her to anyone in search of a massage therapist.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Massage Naturally and Shannon yet. (I’m so embarrassed!) Shannon Adams has been «my masseuse» for several years. I can’t go very often (except after an accident I had), but I surely wish I could. She does all kinds of massage; medical for accidents, relaxation, etc.; many different techniques. She is one of those special masseuses who has an intuitive sense about what is going on in your body. Plus she asks you questions about yourself and your situation in order to give you what you truly want and need. It doesn’t hurt that she is also very sweet. I could go on, but you get the drift. I will note that she does not seem to be listed on their website for some reason. ??? But do ask for Shannon Adams. You won’t regret it.

I was given a gift of a massage by Christie. I’m so used to NOT doing these types of services for myself, I forget that I need them.
I’ll be signing up for some package they have and giving this gift to my husband for Father’s Day. It was a wonderful and healing hour. I fell asleep once or twice. What a treat.
The offices are lovely, peaceful and professional. I hear they also specialize in pregnancy massage and even for children — some who have been through car accidents or other injuries. Good to know.

I have seen Kim several times for massages, starting with pregnancy massages last year when I was pregnant and then visiting again this month for a massage — the long delay due to the joys of having no time left over after taking care of a newborn. I normally don’t have much trouble with my back, neck, etc. So I had never gone for a real massage before.
I have to say, I am a convert. I felt wonderful after each massage, very restored and pampered. The atmosphere is great (and is created without reliance on scented things — I get the impression that someone there even does aromatherapy — but knowing I have lots of allergies and sensitivities, for my appointments nothing perfumed/​scented was involved).
