Wow, what a difference a shade makes!!!
Having the guidance of Jessica and Don in creating the right environment and choosing the right materials was priceless. Working with them elevates the process of material choice and ensures a gorgeous and effective outcome! Installation was by their dedicated installer was impressive.
Wish I had more windows to cover!

This is HONESTLY not too high a rating (5-​stars). I’d give it more if allowed to do so. My purchase was in the mid-2000’s, and as of today (2015) the customer service/​installers are remain helpful, informative, friendly, and reliable. I have NEVER done business with such a cooperative crew. And Jessica, who apparently must juggle the appointments as well as everything else that is handled on the ‘phone, is such a wonderful representative for this firm. Mari has added one or two new installers, but basically still have the same crew they had when I first placed my order.
Thank you, thank you Mari. You sure set the bar high for your competition.

I called in requesting information regarding Lutron motorized blinds for our new home. After explaining to the rep what I was interested in, she informed me that either Don or Jessica would be calling me back. I then waited a few days before calling again. I spoke with the same rep and she said she would remind either of them to call me back. I then called the following Monday (this was now one week after initial contact) and Jessica answered the phone. I asked if she was still planning to assist me, and she said she had been very busy. After hearing her excuse, it left me with the feeling that I was actually a burden to her. She inquired about what information I was looking for. I explained our situation which she said she would try to get back to me with that information on Friday. On Friday I heard nothing. I then waited until the following Wednesday to call to talk with the owner or manager of the business and she said that was Don. I asked her to have him call me back (which he never did). She explained that he was returning from a business trip. Surprisingly five business days later, I received a proposal via email from Jessica. Honestly I was very disappointed by their lack of customer service or attention, especially after reading all the Unilocal reviews. It took me 2 ½ weeks just to get started. At this point I contacted a different Lutron dealer, and was able to get information within 4 days. I will be ordering my motorized blinds through them.

I feel Mari Design is the best company we could have hired to place an outdoor screen on our patio. THe customer service is excellent and so was the job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mari Design delivers the ultimate in service and satisfaction. I am extremely sun sensitive and the large floor to ceiling windows in our new condo (with a NE exposure) presented great challenges. The design and installation team at Mari Design met those challenges with great expertise, and a soothing manner that assisted me in enduring the extremely hot weather we were experiencing during the installation. I have the greatest respect for the owner of this company, who demonstrated in no uncertain terms his dedication to customer satisfaction. Mari Design goes above and beyond in delivering a superior product from start to finish. I highly recommend their services.

Mari Design did a wonderful job with our shades. From consultation through installation, the staff kept in touch with us and was able to meet our exact needs and desires. We were picky and a bit indecisive, so their velvet gloves were appreciated!
And I’m not certain about this… but I think the installation techs might have even prettied up an ugly area of the ceiling near the shades in our bedroom. Thanks, guys!

To a person, these guys are the ultimate in great. Their cost, quality, service and speed were superlative. It’s a joy to do business with them.
