A brewer’s paradise!
If you’re looking for a broad selection of home brewing supplies, ingredients, and friendly people to advise you on the hobby, Maine Brewing Supply is exactly where you want to be.
They don’t have every product by every brand, but man, they pack a lot into that relatively small space. They mill their own grains, carry pelletized and non-​pellet hops, wet and dry yeast, starter and ingredient kits, lots of equipment, and a pretty impressive selection of craft beer from around the world!
I’m just getting into home brewing beer myself, and I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Maine Brewing Supply.

You might be able to get cheaper supplies online, but going in and speaking with the owner Rob is worth whatever extra money you save. He is friendly and knowledgeable, he must get tons and tons of questions, but he is always willing to help with a recipe or explain how something works. They have everything you need in his shop, along with a very nice selection of beer to purchase. I have purchased several true brew kits here (which are great) as well as other ingredients to make concoctions of my own — so the store has everything for the beginner or the advanced brewer.
