Made In Oregon

An Oregon souvenir shop, on steroids. They’ve been here forever it seems.
No other store compares, it’s a pretty good collection of all kinds of Oregon stuff. Some of it expensive, like Pendleton Blankets or inexpensive like fudge. Excellent Oregon wine choices.
Seems like people’s mothers work there, they are very nice and ready to help you.

Average staff, but courteous. Didn’t have a great selection of magnets which I shop for in every city. T-​shirts for men had an odd fit, but otherwise, great picture designs. The store is organized and neat. Lots of local beers sold right in here!

Great store for out of towners. I got a good idea what Oregon is known for. Sports, beer, chocolate, those buttons that hipsters put on their bags, PDX gear and beavers. And sasquatch. Good selection and fun store. I would come back.

For my first time in Oregon, I tagged along with my friend. She’s been to Oregon, specifically Portland, for about 6 times now. Since it was my first time in Portland, I wanted to do all of the tourist things. I wanted to go to a souvenir shop, so my friend suggested checking out Made in Oregon.
This location is found inside of the mall. It is a cute, little souvenir shop. Everything Oregon is pretty much found in this souvenir shop. I checked in on Unilocal to get a free chocolate bar! The free ones were mainly dark chocolate, but there are a couple milk chocolate bars.
This souvenir shop is probably what you expect. From postcards to printed graphic tees. I really wanted an Oregon t-​shirt, but I honestly couldn’t find one that I really liked or saw myself wearing.
The cashier, or maybe even store owner? He was super nice.
Overall, I recommend this souvenir shop if you are looking to buy something from Oregon. Whenever I am in a new place, I love checking out the souvenir shops.

This is a great store for this time of year, It is surprisingly big and full. Especially if you consider that it is all made right here in Oregon.
Made in Oregon has been around for a long time. They don’t seem to have as many stores as they used to. Much of what they carry is hard to find anywhere else. The downside is that because they have been around so long, The formula is set, So they tend to carry the same items or at least the same kinds of items they always have. Visit Made Here in Portland to see what I mean.
They do have lots of kinds of stuff, food, cloths, decorations… the list goes on. The prices are usually a bit higher then you might find elsewhere. But they have done the finding for you. Consider it a finders fee. It is nice to have such a big selection of items and prices to choose from.
The staff is friendly and helpful, they happily help you put a gift box together and suggest items…
I suggest this store for tourists and people like me who shop for people who are out of state. Much of their inventory is not available out of Oregon!
Tip: There is a check in offer here (free chocolate!)

I found multiple items I would have liked to purchase for my friends and family but felt they were quite expensive. There was a good selection of food and non-​food items. Unfortunately they don’t validate parking from one of the parking garages associated with the shopping center either, can’t remember the name.

They were SO friendly and helpful here! The selection was great. I wandered around checking everything out for over an hour, and I’m a local!
I can’t imagine how exciting this store must be for tourists. The only disadvantage is that there is a Unilocal check in offer, but you can’t check in, because there is no cell service in or near the store. :-(The kindly clerk gave me my prize anyway though, when i showed him my many failed attempts to check in on my phone. I do wish they had some lower priced items though. All tourists cant really be rich, can they?

Perfect store to get souvenirs for everybody on your list! The local store makes it very easy to find a shirt, soaps or beer. The prices are normal, I didn’t see many sale items, but, you get a free chocolate bar for checking in through Unilocal

It is a delightful endeavor to visit the Made in Oregon Store within Pioneer Place. There is a vast array of food, beverages, clothing and more. Prices are average, nay to distinctive pricing, either beneficially or consequentially to the consumers. There is a bench located right outside of the store in order for patrons to immediately consume their purchase or purchases. Browsing here is most certainly fun, with their unique selection.
I have visited here many times in my days. This place could be browsed in awe for about half an hour. Employees here tend to be friendly. Sometimes, I’ll see a berry product, sometimes I’ll see a salmon product, either way, browsing here is beautiful.
Made in Oregon is a nice contribution to Pioneer Place.

If you are undecided on what to get as a souvenir — check this place out. Everything, like the name says, its Made in Oregon. They have snacks, foods, apparel, cups, glasses, artifacts, alcohol and much much more. The main reason we can to this location was because if you check in on Unilocal,you get a free chocolate bar! :)

LOVE this store… if you only get to hit one store for souveners let it be MIO. Great selection of items that are ALL made in Oregon… wine, food, soaps, lotions, etc. It was great cuz I’d seen things that I might want to buy at local shops but didn’t have time to go back to them later and they had them here!
Prices seem fair for most part — did seem marked up a bit form the local shop price but for the convenience of having it all under one roof I felt it was worth it. It did take me a little bit of time to find the store as it’s on the bottom level of the mall.
AND the Unilocal deal for free chocolate didn’t hurt too! Love Unilocal!;)

I’m reviewing mainly for the postcards, of which they have a good selection at a fair price. Usually I go to Powell’s for my Portland postcards, but with the Powell’s remodeling (plus Powell’s is further away from my house), I decided to try the Made in Oregon store. They have a good selection of the typical tourist postcards and they are decently priced (I think around 30 cents each). They also had the fancier vintage-​looking postcards (which I think were $ 1 each). And there was a selection of keychains, both touristy and artsy (from a low of about $ 3 for a plastic one to more for leather or metal ones). For someone who collects and trades postcards as a hobby, this store is great.

I’d give this place like 3.5 stars.
It was so pricey here. But it was one of the few souvenir shops that I found. Besides your hotel souvenir shop… This place is as good as it gets in downtown Portland when you’re walking everywhere.
The Saturday Sunday market is cool too… but they don’t have your conventional shot glasses that your brother collects. Or that special Portland pen for your cute sweet papa. :)
That’s what «Made in Portland» is for. Check in for a free chocolate. Free is aaaallllwaaaaayyyss good. I think. Lol

I used Unilocal,of course, to find a souvenir store and Made in Oregon worked out really well. This store is actually in the mall, I believe on the bottom floor close to H&M.
Yes the prices might seem a little high, but this is not your typical cheap/​miC/​just-​switch-​the city-​on-​the-​hoodie supply you get everywhere else. You’ll actually find some unique items here and a good selection of them.
Lots of postcards (both vintage-​looking and picture collages,) locally made sweaters and blankets, rain globes (ha!) matted art, carved wooded figures, and Oregon-​based beer ;)

Seems like this is the only place to get postcards (Powells ran out and hadn’t restocked). If you don’t want to spend your time at the mall there’s another one conveniently located at the airport.
Postcards are a normal 30¢ each.

Sure this is a souvenir touristy place but I shouldn’t feel that ripped off coming here. Enticed by the free chocolate offer by checking in, I bought some tea for friends as gifts. Of note while walking around the store:
Hot sauces priced $ 1.50 more than the exact bottle from a farmer’s market ($ 9 at farmers market) we went to earlier in the day
Moonstruck chocolate priced $ 1 – 2 more than the exact same pieces at the moonstruck chocolate retail store 50 feet away ($ 15 vs $ 16)
Tao of tea priced $ 1.95 more than the exact container of tea at the teahouse inside lan su garden (only $ 5 at the teahouse)…which I visited 30 minutes later. Dammit.
«Sale» items aren’t much cheaper. Honestly this store probably gets wholesale prices and shouldn’t be charging 40% more than what the makers of the product charge. Go elsewhere so you dont carry a dumb bag emblazoned with «made in oregon» to advertise to pickpockets that you’re a tourist.

I love state stores — it’s nice to see locally made items!

Made In Oregon is your basic souvenir shop with a ton of items made within the state; though, there are several items I found that were made in China. If you’re looking for souvenirs, then this place is a decent store to visit for some last minute shopping. Fragrances, BEER, t-​shirts, coffee, smoked salmon, and candies are some of the things sold there.
Prices for goods like coffee are much more affordable here than if you were to buy them at some of the local coffee shops, but the selection isn’t wide.
