Luxury Auto Plex

I was going to buy a Range Rover from this dealership, However I live 4.5 hours away from Portland. The vehicle that I was interested in was advertised with 92k kilometers, for 18k. I spoke with the sales man and the finance rep from luxury auto plex, to confirm that the vehicle did indeed have kilometers on the odometer and not miles. I did this confirmation with one or the other gentlemen at this dealership 3 times before I felt confident enough to make the drive to Portland from my home. I worked out a price to purchase the vehicle sight unseen other than pictures posted on the site.
The sales man suggested that I give him a deposit for the vehicle as it would probably not be there when I arrived as it was a great deal and when I arrived to purchase the vehicle they would apply it to the purchase and if I did not purchase the vehicle he assured me that it would be returned.
When I arrived the first thing I did was walk to the vehicle to make sure that the odometer was in kilometers and not miles as this is a 30k miles difference (94k kilometers = 57k miles) the vehicle had 94k miles on it. I shared my gripe with the sales rep and I left, not thinking that they woikd be anything but honest and a huge waste of my time and now stuck in Portland I had to rent a hotel and try and find another Range Rover with lower miles on it.
After spending all weekend in Portland I found a vehicle, when I checked my statement and saw that the dealership had not given me the money back as they said they would, really who woukd leave a non refundable deposit on anything unless you were positive that you were not going to lose it. I called the dealership and began talking to the salesmen about the money that they owed me, he immediately stated that it was a non-​refundable deposit and he literally hung up on me, I called back three times and was treated like crap with more hang ups. I had to call my credit card company’s to have the issue resolved and it has finally been taken care of.
These people are liars and hustlers, do not buy from them, if you know what is good for you find a honorable dealership that will be honest with join from the start.

I recently purchased a 2006 Forester XT from this establishment.
Before I begin let me explain that I understand buying a car this old you’re going to have possible mechanical issues. The car has 90k miles on it, but the silver lining I thought was the fact that the dealer showed me all the recent receipts for the work a 3^rd party shop had done with the car. The car itself had a high blue book value and I shrugged that off to the fact that the car should be like new condition given the recent mechanical work. I was wrong!
WIth in the first twenty-​four hours I noticed a chirping sound while driving and coming to a stop. I contacted them and was told they would take care of it, and to just take it to the shop they sent it to before. Ok that’s fair. A couple days before taking it to the shop I suddenly get a check engine light. Call them again and I was told that they would take care of that too.
I had no idea what I was getting into with this car. FIVE visits to their shady mechanic who would brush off my concerns. Replace parts that had no bearing on the underlying issue.
If it wasn’t for the fact that I was now desperate to have a working vehicle due to my fiancé being pregnant I would have fought to have them take the car back. In the end their 3^rd party shop did nothing to fix my original concern. With the five visits you would think this would be sorted out. I ended up going to Firestone and they diagnosed the issue to bad wheel bearings and a squeaky sway bar bushing. NONE of the work the mechanic apparently did resolved these two issues. Everytime I would bring it up to the mechanic he would say he couldn’t hear the chirping sound and everything was fine. The check engine light was a result of a secondary air intake issue involving the air valve and air blower. The mechanic they used for the work obviously knows nothing about JDM vehicles or is shady at best considering it took him FIVE times to properly fix the issue. When he did, he went the most expensive route, replacing the MAF sensor, not replacing both air valves when pulling apart the car and not replacing the air blower (These are common to fail when the valve goes due to condensation). I ultimately did the final fix myself to the secondary air by rebuilding the air blower.
Again I understand I bought a car with 90k miles on it, and almost ten years old. What I don’t understand is how a dealership can say it checks out, yet obviously it wasn’t, and that they would sell a car at a premium rate for a car that’s a lemon.
Honestly I would say to stay clear of this place for a used vehicle. As much as they offered to cover the mechanic cost as along as I took it to their third party shop, it doesn’t matter if the shop sucks at fixing anything. I basically ended up with a car that was sold to me as if everything is solid when it was falling apart.

I was looking for a European Car forever and I could not find one, finally I came here and they had the car that I wanted and for a great price. All the people that worked there were super nice and not pushy which I loved. I would fully recommend you to come buy a car from here.
