On January 31, 2014 a tree fell on my house. My insurance company contacted Lorentz Bruun Restoration to remove the tree and repair the damage. Bruun subcontracted tree removal, roofing, and gutters, all of which were done to my satisfaction. Their own employees varied in skill. The fellow sent to repair the siding was a drywall man, who had not a clue. Although I gave them paint color details, the project coordinator bought the wrong paint color. He’s right in a year or two I’ll have the house repainted and then all sides will match. He wanted to charge me extra to paint the garage doors, which were not damaged. I think the painter went ahead and painted them because he knew they screwed up. The project coordinator stood me up for the appointment to sign off on the project. Apparently he never filed a certificate of completion with the insurance company because they never made the final payment. July 9, 2015 a new AR manager at Bruun threatened to turn me over to a collection agency though I’d had NO contact with the company since May 2, 2014. I would not recommend doing business with this company!
