Loot Design House & Mercantile

Walked in with 3 other ladies into this store, we were the only ones in the store, never greeted by the the only staff person there. She barely looked up from her computer. Seemed snooty, poor customer service, and would never consider using them for interior design.

My husband and I worked with Hanna at Loot this past summer to decorate our living room. We had just bought a house and wanted our style to shine through in the room we use the most. Even though we already had a couch and dining set, Hanna immediately understood our style and quickly generated a wonderful plan for our living room incorporating our preexisting pieces.
Let me just say, we had made so many purchases and returns of furniture for that room and were frustrated that we couldn’t have the vision to make it work. After Hanna had the plan in hand, we ended up buying the pieces we thought were a priority first and then gradually ordering the rest of the pieces when our savings allowed. Their motto is ‘bit by bit’ and I truly believe this is how decorating should be. We were able to live in our house for a little while with the first items, and decided what we needed down the line.
Thinking we had months to wait for our items to come in I walked in to the house one evening after work and the entire living room had been finished. Sneaky Hanna and my husband worked all day to install the items without me knowing. I cried it was so beautiful. Our ‘house’ finally felt like a ‘home’.
Don’t hesitate working with this firm. They are real people with true talent and my husband and I will be forever grateful.
