Terrible service! I called in and asked if they could do 3 pedicures and 2 fills. I was told to come now. We arrived and they started out pedicures one by one. The tubs were scrubbed, but no sanitizer circulated and the implements seemed to be reused aka not clean! As we were about to be finished they told us there was only 1 person to acrylics and they didn’t have time to do ours. This while they started a shellac service on a person that walked in after us. She was gracious enough to raise a stink and let them do mine instead. She rushed through the fill and it turned out pretty good. Fast forward 4 days and it looks like sh*t. One of my friends was told the cost of her service and paid. The other was never told, even after she waited nearly an hour there with me while I got a fill. My mom came by during the pedicures and got one herself. We left after my fill, without paying because we had sh*t service AND they didn’t tell us how much we owed without moving on to the next customer. We met up with my mom later and found out they pretty much made her pay for our services! I’m not about chasing people down to pay them if they don’t want to be paid. If they wanted to be paid they should have said something to the person they provided the service to.

This used to be a really great place to get mani/pedis and acrylics, but things quickly went downhill when the owner Lily left approx 3 yrs ago. All of her original employees are long gone(sadly). Lily opened a spa in Lake Oswego and has nothing to do with the N. Portland location anymore. I don’t understand the new hierarchy, but Mary seems to be in charge now, even though she has horrible customer service skills and the other ladies in the shop have little to no respect for her. She always looks angry, never smiles, not a happy or nice person. Cindy is nice and does a decent job on my fills. I would NEVER get a pedicure here though, because in general the place just isn’t clean anymore. Sad to see how it’s become shabby looking the past couple years. If it wasn’t for Cindy, I wouldn’t be a customer here anymore!

Last time I went here I got a Gel set for $ 45. They lifted in three days. Mary was nice angry I wasted my money.

I have been here more than a dozen times in 4 years and everything has always been clean, fresh and I never got fungus. In one word this place is thorough, while getting fill-ins for my solar(a.k.a pink/white) the nail tech looked at them every step and either filed(again) or grabbed the tool and took care of business like a boss. This is the only place I have been to that cleans out the back of the nail with the Dremel. Their pedicures are good too, but not great. This place doesn’t have the ambiance of some fro-fro place in the Pearl, but it’s cheap and clean. Out of the 8 customers that were there I was the only one without a neck tattoo. This place some times makes for really awesome people watching and then there are times I don’t want to deal with someone cursing out their boyfriend’s wife(true story.)

I have been going to Lily’s for 11 years. Lily the owner has always done my pedicures. Lily and Tina are great at what they do. However if you are looking for a place with nice ambiance, this is not it. It is clean and they do sterilize their instruments with an autoclave which is on display for the public to see. My quams with this place is that the customer service has gone down hill. Since the economy is bad it seems like this place is very money hungry and they tend to hound you to buy services and products you didnt ask for. Pedicures are $ 20.00. I would say you get what you pay for. I would rather pay $ 25.00 somewhere else and be treated better and not have the annoying sounds of constant Vietnamese language that no one else understands. I will not be using this place anymore.

I’ve been here for both a fill as well as a pedi and if you are at all concerned about cleanliness you should be very cautious about Lily Nails. Sure, it’s inexpensive but I don’t think there’s ANY way a few bucks in savings can make up for the atmosphere and my nervousness about going home with a whole lot more than I bargained for!

Cindy did a great job on my feet, it was a proper pedi! And my feet needed it in a bad way. I was able to get right in, no wait at all and for twenty bucks it was great.

I went here for years. Then I received a toe nail fungus from an uncleaned pedicure chair. They often do not clean their pedicure chairs after each customer when they are really busy. And they do get busy. Lily tried denying it was from her shop. I havent been back since. I will say Lily does good on nails, they are good at nail art in there. Some of the other employees at the time were good, but one was terrible at nails. My mother left with lumpy nails, and Lily wasnt there at the time so it didnt get fixed. Their prices are great but hygiene isnt much of an importance there. I guess you pay for what you get.

Very friendly and Mary did a lovely job, however it only lasted a few days and started to chip. It made it through the wedding which was great but I wish it would have lasted longer.

Love a good Pedicure! Holly(real name is Hein) at Lily Nails was great! She was careful, thorough, relaxed and gave a great calf/foot massage. Eighteen bucks isn’t bad(actually it’s highway robbery compared to NY city, $ 12 pedi) as some places in N. Portland are $ 25. I’ve got happy feet!!!
