I am giving them five stars, because they deserve it. I got a superb pedicure today. For 20 bucks I had a very long massage, and they managed to rescue my feet from the dead. Lots of attention was given to my cuticles, dry/rough skin, and shaping of nails. Lily Nails also deserves five stars, because of their unbelievable service. Today, a lady came in wanting a pedicure and nail shellac in twenty minutes and insulted Anna and the other nail tech the whole time. This was a really unbearable person, and Anna was nothing but kind and courteous. Some people amaze me with their rude behavior; Anna amazes me with her kindness. Nice nails, and nice people here!

I had a pedicure here. It was pretty standard. They women working were very nice. The chairs were very comfortable and the whole place was very clean. I would go back!

I live very close so I walk here frequently. It’s my favorite nail place. It’s not fancy, but extremely clean and recently updated. It even has wifi! Anna is very sweet and always does a fantastic job with my pedicures and shellac manicures. It’s not super crowded like many places, and the prices are very reasonable.

I really like this place. I get my toenails done about 5 times a year, and pretty consistently choose Lily Nails. It’s very affordable, and my nails always come out looking great. I also really enjoy talking to the staff– they’re very friendly and interactive. As a side note, one of them once asked me if I was in high school so I might have a little bias :) Also, I once called to see if I could come in with a troop of about 4 or 5 of my lady friends and they were very accomodating. They brought in extra employees(who I have never seen) just for us!

Anna is an awesome nail lady. She did exactly what I wanted with my nails and I’m picky! She was quick but efficient and didn’t let me leave unless she was happy. I’m very happy with her work and I will def be back!

I give this place three stars because the ladies are so nice. Seriously, Anna is the sweetest woman. They were able to see my right away which is obviously great. However, I was directed to sit at a station that clearly had other people’s nail clippings on it which did not get wiped down before I sat down. Kind of gross. The overall appearance of the shop is that it could use a good cleaning. My cuticles were trimmed pretty unevenly and they told me I could leave before my nails were totally dry so now one of them has a ding in it. Bummer. Also a couple of my nails were filed to be a shaped a little weird; almost tapered on the side. The price was a little cheaper than other nail shops I have been to in Portland, but I will probably go elsewhere and pay a little more to get the quality I expect in a professional manicure.

Dropped in for a mani/pedi while on vacation and got great service with a very long massage. Color choices were a little outdated, but I found one.

The other reviews are right on. I had a mani/pedi at the same time, which I love. I feel more pampered/relaxed, and it’s faster that way. I called ahead and they were able to see me right away. This nail shop in the the Zupan’s shopping center on Macadam was friendly, convenient, and fast. They had a nice selection of polish, good massage, and totally adequate manicure pedicure generally. Also, the price was a few dollars less than most other places I’ve seen in Portland.

Good place for the basics. They have a credit card sign but don’t want you to use it. Bring cash for less drama.

This place is reasonably priced for the mani/pedi experience that is provided. I’ve been frequenting Lily Nails for the past three years and I have seldom left feeling less-than-great. I would definitely recommend this place, especially to anyone living in John’s Landing, Lair Hill, Sellwood or Downtown Portland. The only slight bummer is that sometimes they close earlier than their posted hours. The other bummer is that it’s cash, check or debit only– –no credit cards.

Having recently moved, I wasn’t sure where to go when it came time to get a mani/pedi for a friend’s wedding. I took a chance on Lily’s after hearing some nice things about it and was excited about the fact that it was so close to my house. The overall experience was a pleasant one – the ladies were nice, I managed to beat the lunch rush and the massages on my hands and feet were wonderful. But, alas, I will not be returning to Lily’s because less than a week later, my manicure has started to bubble and peel… something that has never happened to my manicures before. In all my experiences of receiving french tips, I have managed to maintain beautiful nails for at least three weeks before they started to chip.(My old place in Pasadena was amazing.) I didn’t do anything differently this time. It is a shame. If, after reading this review, you still want to give Lily’s a go, just a head’s up: they prefer cash or check.

Lily Nails is my go-to place for inexpensive yet very competent pedicures and manicures. They’re a little light on the scrubbing but heavy on the rubbing — they give long massages on both pedi and mani that feel great. I always find myself here on a Friday afternoon or Saturday after a long week and the ladies here make me feel nice and relaxed by the time I leave. They have a great collection of magazines for zoning out on fashion while you get your tootsies polished. My last pedi lasted 3 weeks until I had time to go back in. The owner prefers cash or check, although I think they do have a credit card machine if you find yourself strapped for cash. Pedicure is $ 20, regular manicure is $ 13. The only thing I would improve is the cell phone policy — though most people are considerate about it, I once had a girl yap away during my whole pedicure. I kind of felt like slapping her phone into the foot tub. Oopsie!
