Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic.
Went to get my first ball as I joined a league this year. Larry was helpful, patient and witty!
I felt in good hands. He let me browse the books, ask a million questions about what would be best for me, and spent a good 15 minutes testing and measuring my fingers to fit for drilling. Boyfriend brought in his ancient ball to see if a counterweight could be added, and ended up purchasing a new ball and shoes as well!
We were there for over an hour and a half, and as I was leaving, Larry asked me about shoes… I said they didn’t have the pair I was looking for. Not a problem! He ordered them for me and they will be there when it’s time to pick up my ball.
Even better, being in an AMF league, you get a 10% discount on everything!
No better pro shop, go here.

Larry is so helpful and skilled. I just got my first ball drilled by him. Who knew there were so many things to test/​measure? He was patient and kind. When I wasn’t sure how to answer a question he explained what he was trying to figure out so I could better answer. He is quite a jokester too, which made the whole experience that much more fun and stress free!
Thank you Larry! My new pink ball is perfect now!

Larry was excellent, so funny, helpful, nice and was amazing with the kids that came in and made the kids feel like they were a person. I highly recommend this place for your bowling needs!!!

I am a total beginner, but Larry assured me that I would bowl better with a custom drilled ball. After bowling twice with my new ball, I see he was correct. I highly recommend buying your own ball if you want to bowl more than once a year, and also to buy it from Larry. His shop seems well stocked with just the right amount of inventory at all price levels.
My experience around the service was very similar to the other 5-​star reviews listed here — in a word it was outstanding.

Larry’s Pro Shop is the place to go! I bought my wife a $ 100 gift card for Christmas so she could replace her old bowling ball from high school bowling that cracked. Larry was awesome. He reminds me of how customer service used to be. Larry was funny and friendly. He drilled the holes on my wife’s new ball, and even gave her a free game and shoes to test everything out. Larry actually walked out to the rental counter with us to make sure they didn’t charge her to rent shoes. To top it off, he gave us a discount on the ball!

What a fantastic experience. I was half expecting a self-​righteous, «if you aren’t a pro don’t come here» attitude and was instantly put at ease. I went in to get a new ball drilled and a friend of mine went with me to get a new ball plus drilling. Larry is fun to talk to, helpful, knowledgeable, and down to earth. We got taken care of promptly, accurately and at a reasonable price.
If you want to enjoy bowling even more, go here. Seriously.

Though I haven’t seen Larry in many years he was the finest Bowling Pro Shop owner I ever had the opportunity to work with, and I saw quite a few as I was an avid bowler for many, many years. Larry knows his stuff yet is very down to earth and really cares about doing a superb job. Shot a few 300’s with his help, and a ton of practice. Glad to see he is still serving bowlers as he is the best.

This is a great pro shop that excels in customer service. Larry and his staff are very knowledgeable and if you listen up while you’re in there, you’ll catch some good bowling tips (and banter) that could only improve your game. There is something for everyone there, from the most casual bowler, to nerded-​out lane-​junkies like myself. Prices are always fair, and keep in mind that once unless you’re drilling your own ball, prices online won’t usually save you any money.

My boyfriend and I are pretty new to the bowling scene, with just a mere months of «experience» under our belts. Needless to say, we had absolutely no clue what to look for when we walked in to Larry’s Pro Shop. From the moment we opened the door, we were greeted by Larry with open arms. His witty personality, jokes and knowledge were a breath of fresh air. He made the entire process for us painless, fun and memorable. He even watched us bowl a game (and gave us pointers) to make sure our new bowling balls fit properly, and when mine didn’t feel right (most likely due to user error), he had no problems carrying my ball back into his shop to make the adjustments that I requested. He even stayed an hour after his shop was supposed to close to help us!
5 stars for you, Larry! Thank you for everything!
