My favorite sandwich is a good, old-fashioned clubhouse and Larry’s is my favorite place to get one. I was first brought here a couple years back by my Aunt, who used to go with her family almost weekly back when they still had garden golf next door. The prices are great, the food simple and delicious. What is kind of fun is the variety in your order between visits. Depending on the current cook and, I assume, chance, the club sandwich will come with slight variations. Sometimes a sweet relish, sometimes quartered, sometimes with fries included– most times not. It’s a fun and consistently yummy place that you should definitely stop by sometime.

The food is average, but worth the price. The staff is kinda slow but hey they’ve been in business 49 years and looks like they’ve kept the same staff so it’s worth the wait. The décor is country charm with a little gift stand. Neat place for a quick cheap breakfast.

This place is old but that’s what makes it the place it is. Coming up on there 50th anniversary. Grandma is the main cook with her daughter working tables and helping cook along with the granddaughter helping out on the weekends. The food is good both breakfast and lunch. Never have had dinner. Prices are more than fair. Just don’t expect a lot of ambience.

This place is cool. It’s an old-school diner, complete with old-school prices. They say they’ve been open for 49 years. These have all this kitschy Swedish stuff everywhere, which made me feel like I was in my Swedish grandmother’s house again. It’s cute. The staff are nice. We went there for breakfast. It wasn’t anything that was going to blow you away, but it’s a solid breakfast. My wife had the short stack of pancakes and said it was better than the ones we can make at home. I had the«small breakfast» which was an egg, a couple pieces of bacon, a big piece of toast and some hash browns. It was totally fine, and the bacon was above average for sure. For $ 4.50, it’s tough to find any better. Breakfast for 3 people(including coffee for two of us) came to $ 14.50. At that price, this place is a good value. If you just want a super basic diner breakfast that’s fine with nice people, this will totally do the trick.

Had a bacon burger and fries … I usually like old school places like this but it was pretty dirty and smells like a nursing home … food was pretty good not great but I suspect their breakfast is pretty good cause the bacon was exellent.
