A taco truck a few feet away from work? YESPLEASE! After I saw that my coworkers were heading to this place daily, I decided to take a shot at it. I tried the chicken burrito and it was massive. I couldn’t finish it which is a good sign! Very delicious and it comes with salsa as well(although I needed to add some more hot sauce since I like it VERY spicy). I didn’t have a chance to look at the entire menu, but it’s extensive and has your typical Mexican food. There’s never a line so you can just walk up and order what you want. They take cash and debit/credit cards as well. I can see this becoming an addiction.

Had the Oaxaca mole pork burrito for lunch today and it was amazing. I’m thrilled to have a good taco truck in the eastside industrial area just blocks from work. Don’t leave!

Absolutely fantastic chili relleno burrito. Made to order, queso fresco, friendly service, fast. I would absolutely go back. Shoot, I’d go back right now if I wasn’t so full.

This is the same cart listed on Unilocal in North portland. They look to be permanently stationed here. They are very good. During lunch hour there is a line from the central eAstside folks that know about the cart, but after 1pm there is little wait. Today I got tamales and rice.

The taco cart I liked at the central eastside pod left, so I’m on the hunt for a new lunch stop. I’ve driven past here many times, it’s always open during lunch but in an odd spot. So figured I’d give them a try. Very typical taco truck menu… Tacos, tamales, tortas, burritos, claims of a molé. Covered seating area, no line. I order the standard to judge all trucks by, in my opinion… Carne asada tacos. Three for $ 5, which is a bit more than other trucks around town, but not exorbitant. They are fast. Less than five minutes. I have a little take out box with three double corn tortilla street tacos. Cilantro, onion, line, tomatillo salsa. Taco one. Decent. Taco two… All fat. Literally 6 pieces of actual meat, the rest was all chunks of fat. So disappointed. Taco three, less fat… Better. The tomatillo salsa was standard, unremarkable. The tortillas, standard. The lady who took my order was friendly. In case of taco craving, I’d come back. It’s certainly not a drive-across-town-for-these-tacos kind of place. But it’ll do.
