Get the carne asada burrito a la bonita! Very delicious and filling. They also have beer, whiskey and margaritas which I haven’t tried yet.

Great authentic fare, great prices, not greasy, no complaints! We will be back! After getting TOTALLYSNUBBED at Batter PDX, this was some quality grub that saved the day!

One too many times I’ve been given a cheese and/or meat burrito after ordering something vegan. For an apparently vegan-friendly menu, this is just not okay. Not to mention, you don’t know until you bite into it. They also like to charge you more if you ask them to give you salsa instead of egg and cheese. No thanks. I’m done with this place.

The food at la Bonita has always been better than other lesser(cheaper) Mexican spots. I’m happy to spend a couple extra bucks to get a plate I know I’ll enjoy. The meats are better, the kitchen seems to take a little more pride than other in-n-out burrito shops. The gentleman going between the kitchen and the counter was really hustling and doing a great job. I felt bad as he kept calling to a coworker to help the line but she was oblivious and buried in her cell phone. Felt kinda awkward for the customers. But again, the gentleman who took care of my order was awesome! Cheers! We’ll definitely be back!

How many times have you gone to a place and had them just forget your order? I am 3 for 3 with this location. This is how the ordering works. You order, then you pay. Then you wait 30 minutes and ask, «Where is my food? I ordered 30 minutes ago.» Then they start to make it. That is the secret to this place. You need to stand by the kitchen and glare at them and remind them, «Chicken tacos… three of them.» «Three chicken tacos.» «Yeah I still don’t know where my tacos are.» It sucks that I can’t walk to another burrito place from my house, but it is worth the drive to NOT go to La Bonita Killingsworth.

The food was very flavorful and the meats were super tender and juicy. Flavor: Price is absolutely favorable!!! I preferred the green sauce to the red here and think some would want it hotter but that can be easily addressed with condiments. I do wish they had Jamaica tea.

The two things that La Bonita has that make me want to go back right now? The carnitas and the housemate hot sauce. No joke. You should go there too, right now. I don’t get to this part of town too often, and when i do it’s because of a certain employee store with three stripes for the logo. I’ve never eaten up here, but after an hour or so in said store and making a few too many purchases, I was hungry. A quick search on Unilocal and I wandered north. I found a Thai place, but it didn’t look like anyone was there, even with four star reviews. I went on Killingsworth and saw the sign for La Bonita and took a look. Mexican food. In this town, mostly good, but I’ve been burned once before. I will admit, not many meat choices, and I wasn’t happy with my last Mexican place for that, but once I tried the carnitas burrito, all the negatives in my head went away. Carnitas, rice, beans, lettuce and tomatoes. I also got some chips and pico and was using the pico on my burrito. I also asked for hot sauce. Caliente! Not spicy for me(to clarify, the red sauce, I didn’t try the green), but I killed off the remaining bottle the woman gave me and I asked for another one, plus sauce to go. Yes, the hot sauce was that good. The carnitas were moist and so so so so full of flavor. So the burrito was great and huge. Think Chipotle burrito size. The Latin music was pumping, the storefront was colorful, the staff, friendly and there were plenty of Mexican beers, Jarritos and Jumex to be embedded upon. I will have to get back here sooner. Who has another 50% off at the striped store? Just saying. Enjoy.

Slow service, got a chorizo burrito, they forgot to make it and then when they did, it didn’t have any chorizo in it! Also, Bruno Mars made me cry the whole time. Not into it. Mediocre at best.

Solid, fast Mexican cuisine. Impressive portion sizes — great value for the cost! Definitely will be going back. We snagged burritos and enchiladas — everything tasted good, great for what’s available in Oregon, but was in all honesty slightly bland — needed more tasty spices veggies to liven things up. Next time we’ll ask for extra pico and sauces.

We have only eaten here once(take out) and the food was delicious! I had the asada tostada and my husband had an asada burrito. All the ingredients were fresh with good flavor. The service was a little slow but it was 2pm on a Monday. The woman who took our order was friendly too.

I frequent this little restaurant more often than I’d like to admit, but the pull of a quick, tasty burrito is a temptation which I must indulge. The staff at La Bonita is friendly and provide quick service. La Bonita serves beer and cocktails which is requisite in my opinion.

I like eating at this location over the Alberta location. The service is quick and they are super nice! It’s family friendly and this spot is relaxed. My favorite is the veg tamales. delicious!

Do yourself a favor and try anything with carnitas. I’ve looked all over town for the best, and it lives here. In a taco or burrito, you can’t go wrong.

I enjoy coming here for many reasons. 1. Its in Alberta and there are lots of places to see 2. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. I travel to Mexico for work every month. 3. The portions are large. 4. The quality of the food is excellent 5. Its two doors down from my favorite donut shop 6. I recommend the fish tacos. However, the chimichangas are deliciously enormous 7. Horchata is delicious What more can you ask for? Street parking and all items are priced fairly.

The food is always excellent, as is the service. I live down the street from the Killingsworth location and eat there at least once a week. Yummy!

I miss the days in SF where I could choose from 10 taquerias with great, cheap, Mexican food. This place is close. A quick walk from work. Clean and efficient. And a decent veggi burrito. Add guac and sc and its great. House made chips. Yummy enchiladas. My friend loves the tacos and has done all the fillings Definitely will frequent this place.
