Ok, so now that I’ve been back in a few times I’ve determined that this really is kind of a basic Chinese convenience store… for people who need 50lb bags of rice in a pinch, I guess Everything from dried wood ear fungus to cans of coconut water to frozen fish to glutinous rice to some random ramens to… whatever. It’s so strange, but the people there are friendly and ready to sell some shit to you.
Either way, it’s cool for me because I live nearby and am currently obsessed with coconut water, which I can get here in a pinch. So yeah, it does the trick. That, and I never went here when it was a Baskin Robbins, so I’m happy with the change.
