KFC

This KFC sucks. Can’t get any order right. They actually ran out of chicken and told people to comeback later or call in an order. I called an order to go and they didn’t have it ready but made me wait an additional 20 minutes then cheated me out of 2 pieces of chicken.

This is the only kfc in the neighborhood, so we’ve continued going here even after getting incorrect orders and cold food on several occasions. Today they somehow got so backed up that they left me sitting at the drive thru window for 15 minutes after taking payment. I waved, thinking I’d been forgotten– no one acknowledged me. No one was ahead or behind me in the drive thru. After the 15 minute wait, the manager came and gave me my drinks. The ice was melted and the drinks were watered down, having sat there the whole time. One drink was also only half full. Yes, half. There was no greeting or apology, just gave me my drinks, said they were backed up and told me to park. I asked for an estimated time, and wasn’t given one. When I parked, I saw they’d parked several other cars– they were bringing out orders, mixing up what cars they went to. It took 15 more minutes for me to get my order. The employee who finally brought my food out 30 minutes after it was ordered was polite and friendly. I drove away, in a hurry from being so late on the food and got home to discover the order was wrong. To get a half full drink and wrong food after a 30 minute wait, with no apology or discount from the manager is crazy. I won’t be returning here.

Went through the drive-​thru and ordered 4 meals, all with special changes. The cashier was friendly and got the entire order right. Everything was correct, fresh, and fast. Very pleased. :-)

Bad customer service. When I ordered, the cashier didn’t ask me if I wanted crispy or original. When I saw the girl in the back put in original in my bucket, I clarified to the cashier that I wanted crispy. Then they rudely muttered, «ugh why do customers always do the dumbest shit?» I waited until they completed packing my food and told them I heard what they said and that they were rude. Then they denied they said anything. The manager overheard and did not even apologize. I will never step foot in this establishment again.

All those cute commercials with the new Colonel Sanders and they sent coupons to our house so we figured we would give them a try.
First, the A & W root beer dispenser explodes in your cup as it makes a foamy head, and this meant a bit of a mess and a hand washing. Not pleased. It takes time to actually get a full cup of root beer.
We ordered two original bacon cheeseburger combos. The fries were pretty good, not limp, could have been a bit better but we’re the best I’ve had in a few reviews. The the cheeseburgers initially look kind of small but they’re actually pretty thick and stacked with ingredients. They turned out to be very filling.
Overall I would say this was a pretty good experience for a evening meal.

Years ago, I used to like KFC fried chicken, but nowadays I think it tastes way too salty. Seems like their «original recipe» has changed to include a ton of salt along with the «eleven secret herbs and spices».. .either that, or my taste buds have matured. Anyway, I don’t get fried chicken there at all anymore, but their chicken pot pie isn’t bad, and that’s what I got today. Also, this location at SE Powell and 82^nd is one of the those combination A&W Root Beer places too, so that is a plus! There were quite a few flies buzzing around the dining area today which was a bit unappetizing, but at least they stayed away from where I was sitting and MY pie and root beer.

I’ve eaten a lot of KFC in my lifetime from a lot of different restaurants but the Famous Bowls at this one have consistently made me feel so awful that I become frightened that I may die. I’ve only had two of them, spaced a month apart, but I’m done trying. The one I just ate had cold pockets in it as well.
Service has been consistently slow and the attitude of the employees is that they don’t care.

I hardly go to KFC but went to this location today. We were out and wanted something different. I ordered the chili cheese fries. Well got home, sat down and opened the container to find HAIR in my food! My biggest peeve is hair and in my food is just so gross. I will never go here again.

KFC is one of my guilty pleasures though I’m trying my best to bypass major fast food joints, I still occasionally just have to buy a bucket of KFC. Their sides are run of the mill, OK cole slaw for a bit of veggies. Everybody knows your next heart attack is one day closer every time you eat it, but when the urge strikes you do what you gotta do.

Two words, Fried Chicken.

Don’t eat here unless it’s free and even then give it away!

All right, all right, I know. Its been a gazillion years since I wrote anything (and it might be a while for the next one too) and its a fast food joint-​WTF?! Here’s a short list of questions you should probably ask yourself just after that goes through your head:
1. Have I ever met Sylvia? (If you have, then you know damn well that I’ll call on a sandwich & get a free lunch out of the deal)
2. Have I ever read any of Sylvia’s reviews? (see above parentheses)
3. What’s it to me if she writes a review of a fast food joint? (Well? What’s it to ya, huh?)
But seriously, wokka wokka! HA! I kiiiiiiiiid!
Here’s the deal: we all know what KFC tastes like, nothing special here. They’re not sprinkling crack in my cole slaw, even though this would be the hood to request such a thing. What they are doing, is being genuinely nice folk.
A month or so ago, I ordered a sandwich & got back to the office to find that I had received the wrong order. I called the manager who told me that whenever I got around to it, I could stop back in & get a replacement sandwich for free– just mention his name. So today, while running a random lunch errand in a rush, I stopped in. No manager in sight– no problem. I mention it to the person taking my order, she says two words to someone else, tells me there won’t be a problem with that. THEN when I go to order myself a side, she tells me to keep my money, that they were comping that too, for any inconvenience to me & proceeds to thank me for coming in and letting them make it right. Every other business I’ve dealt with in the last month could take a lesson from this place.
