Intimate theater but no bad seats with stadium seating just front on. Some other venues in town have the side seating which can be hard but here was all front on. I’ll look for more shows here in the future. We saw a comedy show but not sure what else they have here. Very small and casual. The show we went had complementary snacks of Capri Sun, Twinkies and Ding Dongs. It may have been themed for comedy because it was pretty funny to see the choices.

Excellent vintage original Firehouse theater. Small audience where every seat in the house with elevated view of the stage. Thoroughly enjoyed the one woman show“Mr. Darcy Dream Boat” sponsored by

The Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center is one of my favorite places to watch theatre. Not just because the IFC is the home of my wonderful friends’ amazing theatre company (Third Rail Repertory), but because the space is small, intimate and cozy without loosing that grand feeling you get when attending a performance at a larger venue.

The first time i came to this theatre, i didn’t know what to think since it used to be a firehouse. its a cute small intimate medium sized theatre (its way bigger than the backspace theatre but way smaller than Arts Repretory Theatre, you decide). anyway, the chairs aren’t uncomfortable, i could sit still for longer than other theatres i’ve been to. i love all the shows i’ve seen at this theatre which is about six shows since september 2006. and i will be back for more.
