Pay no attention to exterior: the flapping plastic banners and balloons, the LED signs, the smoky windows.
What’s inside is worth going for. Warm buddhist-​orange walls, pleasant lighting, and sweet people who who greet you and do a great job.
I went with my boyfriend, and Monri did a great job cutting his hair, resulting in a do that hair cuttee proclaimed «my best haircut ever!».
Monri incorporated my desire for the hair cuttee to actually have hair (with a sense of style) left on his head after the haircut, with my boyfriend’s desire for «easy». Which essentially means buzz cut #2.
The folks there were so nice, I decided on the spot to stay and have my eyebrows waxed, something I’ve done fewer times in my life than I have fingers on one hand. And I have the usual number of fingers on each hand.
The haircut was $ 13, the wax, $ 11.
