We needed a full remodel of our bathroom, down to the studs and including replacing the entire subfloor and floor, due to extensive dry rot and mold damage, and Maxwell and his team came to our rescue. Maxwell, Matt, and Jonathan did all the work themselves, aside from the very capable plumbers and electricians who they contracted with.
The job was much more complicated than a simple remodel, involving changing the bathroom layout, building a new wall between the sink and shower rooms, redoing all of the supply and drain lines in the basement plumbing, and upgrading and moving the electrical service to the house. Maxwell and his team were a joy to work with — prompt, knowledgeable, impeccably clean and well organized, and cheerful when confronted with unexpected challenges (having to move part of our fence to accommodate the new electrical meter placement, among other things). Green Light had previously done a great job replacing our front door and remodeling my mother-in-law’s kitchen, and we’d hire them again for any and all remodeling projects. Honest people, high-​quality work, and reasonable rates.

I’d seriously consider hiring this company if I was considering a project. They are doing a major remodel for a neighbor. Maxwell, the owner, asked me to let him know if his crew ever made too much noise; how cool is that. Moreover, he granted me a favor regarding my own landscaping project.
Starting off with such customer service is a positive sign for the entire project experience.

We removed a window and added a door to the backyard and had a smooth and hassle free experience working with Maxwell from the permitting process through the end of the project.
Max and Matt built a beautiful landing and installed a great door frame and door. He was able to get the exact door that we wanted to suit our 1930s house. The estimate was reasonable and the work was done in a timely manner. They left the house clean at the end of everyday. We would highly recommend his workmanship and work ethic.

Matt and Max were awesome to work with. We had been dreading remodeling our bathroom due to the price and the inconvenience but knew that, with a baby on the way, we needed to fix the leak that was bringing water into our kitchen. Max gave us a reasonable bid and was able to complete the job in a timely matter, even with a few hiccups (leaking skylight, ants nests found in the walls). They were super clean, making sure to sweep and vacuum nightly before they left. The quality of their work was great and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a super friendly, honest contractor.
