Gillihan Lending Group

This company coordinated a refinance for me.
At the end, when I had already signed all closing papers, and thinking the loooong process was a done deal, I inquired on line about a car loan. BAM… the bank that was doing my new mortgage had run a last minute, and third, credit check on me before officially closing the loan. That car loan credit inquiry caused my refinance to be denied. The Gillihan Group, who was supposedly walking me through this process, failed to tell me that there would be another credit check after signing the final papers, causing the loan to be denied… after a THREE MONTH PROCESS! I spoke with Dave Gillihan about this failure on their part. And yes, I was pretty P.O.‘d, he chose to hang up on me rather than discuss. I would have liked him to hear me out, maybe apologize, and maybe consider some training of his personnel who should have learned from this error. This happened 3 months ago. It was freshly brought to mind recently when I found out the fire insurance for my home had been canceled because, during this re-​fi process, State Farm had been notified that there was a new mortgage company handling my impound account. State Farm billed them… they failed to notify SF that they didn’t have a mortgage holder by my name, nor did they contact me. I had to scramble and get a $ 580 check to State Farm to get reinstated. Many problems with THE GILLIHAN GROUP. I do NOT recommend them.

They were so helpful with my mortgage refinance! They were very helpful helping me understand the process since it was my 1^st time refinancing!
I now understand why Dave Ramsey recommends them!
