Shop here quite frequently, never had bad service, however purchased an Xbox one for my son and when he opened it it was definitely used, with a game in it and all, scratches on the console, cords all tangled… returned it and was hoping for something in return for the big inconvenience of having to package it all back up and make another trip in, however nothing was offered, this is usually standard with a company offering good customer service,(Costco always gives a gift card for their mistakes like this)…not that I was expecting something, it is just a nice gesture for a mix up that is their fault and definitely will keep you shopping there if you know you’re being taken care of!

I bought my Xbox One here. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. The employees were pretty helpful and knowledgable about the product and helped guide me in the right direction. Since I came in with a plan to buy something, it’s hard to be disappointed. During my time here, I discovered that they had used next-gen consoles in stock. But I wouldn’t have found that out if I didn’t ask because they weren’t showing that they were available. For future customers, I would recommend checking to see if they have any good used deals, because they may not be advertised.

These guys are so great!!! EVERY time I go in, they are doing their absolute best to help you in any way, and if they can’t, then they find a way. I have been going in with my son since he was 9, and they realize HE is the customer(I’m just the one with the $$) and really are respectable. Most of the time there is one or two people working, and they multi-task well. Always treating the customer that came in first, phone 2nd. They really do try hard!!!

Went into the store to order a Christmas present for my wife. Alice: Madness Returns on XBOX360. Everyone was sold out. The game is no longer in print apparently though I did not verify that information myself. The sales associate helped me order it online in the store through their warehouse in Texas. $ 29.99 was the price and it would be shipped to my house. I found out later after trying to look and find it at another place that BRANDNEW it costs only $ 19.99. Meaning it comes with the download for the original Alice game and its brand new in the wrapper. The video game arrived in the mail about a week later. I opened it up to find a 3rd party BLACK case with stickers all over it and gunk and smears of god knows what all over the case. The disc was scratched up and inserted in a paper disc holder. The cover art was bent, dinged, torn and in shoddy condition. So you mean I pad $ 10.00 more than NEWRETAIL for a game that arrives in this condition? I cant give this to my wife for christmas. It looks like I bought it at a garage sale for $ 1.00. I am returning this game. So just because its out of print you feel the need to charge customer $ 10 above the norm? SCAM! I hate Game Stop.

They have always been really helpful and nice. Never had a problem with not having a game I wanted. Like going to this store better than the one in the town center.

I tried buying a new copy of Rock Band 3. When I brought the cover box to the counter, the employee pulled a scratched disc out of a drawer and put it in the case. He «sealed» it with a sticker and said if it was«opened» I wouldn’t be able to return it. Upon voicing my concern over the issue, the clerk told me I could take it or leave it. Spoiler alert: I left it. Shame on you, Gamestop. That’s no way to do business.

So there are a several things that can make video game shopping with the dude much better. #1 Make it quick. The sooner I can get away from all the pale, pimply teenagers that frequent these joints, the sooner i can forget that I was there. #2 Have the things we want available, and #3 when they are available, let them work! My last experience with Game Stop totally tested my patience. The staff at this location always seems totally engrossed in one customers buybacks or some other lengthy task, as a line of quick cash register transactions builds and builds. Twice we were there in the last week, same scene both times. The second time we were there was because we had to make a return on a used game that turned out to be totally scratched and didn’t work when we got it home. I mean, I get that it’s used, but at $ 15, it should still serve its only purpose; to work for gameplay. It was ridiculous that we waited in line for like 20 minutes, and just before we got to the counter, the child of a customer informed the cashier that someone had entered a vulgarity as a handle for one of their in-store consoles, the ones anyone can play. The cashier immediately stopped ringing us up and went over to fix the issue which was apparently now top of the priority list, rather than the long line of customers who all had been waiting for a long time. It turns out the message on the game said«FUCKGAMESTOP.» I have to say, I’m inclined to agree with the message.

I have to say that I enjoy going into this game stop. They give great customer service and always greet everyone at the door. No I don’t always enjoy the prices for trade In’s but I did get 35 $ for call of duty trade in value because the guy hooked me up for some event thing they were having. I am a girl and go to school for computer information systems. I am usually one of the only girls in my classes of nerds and when they see me it turns into a huge competition. I am pretty happy to say that the guys at game stop talk to me about games in a friendly manor and not in a competitive way. I think that if anyone is going to go to game stop that they should go to this one. They provide great customer service!
