I can’t take it anymore. If you can’t have supplies and open your door at the posted time don’t bother. Change the sign or get staff capable of following the posted signs.

They opened a half hour late for lunch, My order took 30 minutes to come out when I was the first order of the day. When the burger finally arrived it was over cooked and cold. I can’t remember when I have had such a bad burger. The staff was trying hard but they are completely under staffed.

I really, really, really want to give this place a really good review and I would LOVE to tell you how the food is, but that simply is not going to happen with this review. You see both times that I have tried to eat here they have been out of hamburger. Yes, you read that right, OUTOFHAMBURGER! So…a Groupon ad popped up on my phone for Frack Burger on Saturday 01÷23÷16 and while I do use Groupon on occasion I am certainly not a Groupon fanatic. I went to the Frack Burger website and looked at their menu, I also looked at some reviews online and the pictures and reviews seemed great. I pondered about buying my Groupon and decided NOT to. Sunday I had some errands to run and looked to see if Frack Burger was anywhere near where I was going to be, it was not, so I decided that maybe Frack Burger wasn’t in my cards that weekend. After running my errands I went home, in Hillsboro, and did some things around my house. Frack Burger was still on my mind so I checked for the Groupon and it was still there, so I figured what the heck and bought my Groupon($ 6 for $ 10 worth of food). I get into my car at around 5:30pm. Now I am still fairly new to Oregon so I rely on my GPS to get me where I need to go, after driving 30 minutes or so I happen upon Frack Burger on Barbur Blvd. There weren’t any cars in the parking lot, but I wasn’t too worried, after all it was Sunday football playoff day and I had read one review that said NOT to let the lack of cars in the parking lot discourage you from eating there. As I approach the door I see a hand written sign that said«Temporarily out of hamburger, went to get more, be back soon». Well, since I didn’t know how long the sign was there nor did I know how long they would be gone I left feeling a little dejected. Okay, I will go back, after all I do have my Groupon. So, after work on Tuesday 01/26/2016 I decided to head to Frack Burger to eat an early dinner, 5pm. I work in Beaverton and my GPS told me I was on 5 miles from the Barbur Blvd. location. I drive over and pull into the parking lot, today there are a couple of cars, so I am thinking, good sign. I walk in and there is nobody eating inside, no worries, it is early evening and most people are still getting of work. I was greeted by a very friendly young man who I believe was in the grill area. He proceeds to tell them that it will be a few minutes and if I could hang around for 40 – 45 minutes for when his co-worker gets back with hamburger… you see they ran out of hamburger 4 orders before I showed up. The look on my face must have said that I really didn’t want to hang around that long and when I told him that I was just here the other day and they were out of hamburger he was very apologetic and blamed upper management for not ordering enough hamburger to sustain them throughout the day. I said thank you and walked out. I looked through the reviews before posting this and I see they are from 2015 and older and most of them are GOOD reviews. So I don’t know if management has changed since last year, but someone needs to get in there that knows how to do ordering. I can’t imagine a restaurant can sustain if they keep running out of hamburger during the dinner hour. After all the main ingredient they keep running out of is in their name for heaven’s sake. I will go back because I still have my Groupon. I am hoping my next review will be better and it will be regarding the food.

This place was a train wreck. They are clearly understaffed and have ownership/management issues. It started when we arrived there at 11:30 am. They supposedly open at 11, but the doors were still locked. Someone unlocked the door at 11:35 am. 35 minutes past their open time. The restaurant was disgusting. The menus were dirty; there were footprints on them. They were obviously on the floor and stepped on, and no one bothered to wipe them down. There were almost-empty ice tea pitchers that were clearly left out over night. I watched the one employee scramble to take orders, deliver food and drinks, and cook burgers. Actually, there was a cook in the kitchen, but that person needed help. There were tables where only one person got their burger and the others still waited. I don’t understand why there isn’t a self service soda station. There’s one size soda and free refills. It would save time for everyone if there was a self serve soda station. The employee taking the orders had to jump behind the kitchen to help cook food(while half the restaurant waited for soda refills). We ordered two burgers and an order of fries. Our food took 25 minutes. And we were one of the first people there. The onion rings in my burger were burnt. I’m giving it two stars because the burgers were somewhat tasty. And here’s the kicker: after we got our food, one of the two employees put out a sign that said they were out of beef for the burgers. A BURGERPLACERANOUTOFBURGERS? I’m glad we ordered when we did! That’s like saying Chick-Fil-A ran out of chicken! Outback ran out of steak! Starbucks ran out of coffee! You get the idea. It’s obvious that someone showed up to work late. And someone dropped the ball on the kitchen food order. And they need more staff.

We stopped at the Frack Burger on Barbur for the first time. We waited about 5 min and no one asked us for our order. Two employees walked by the counter and said nothing. The floor was slippery and sticky. We will not be going there again.

Frack No! I had not been here in over a year and my oh my has it gone downhill. I bought the Groupon to give it another shot and wanted to call in the order so I could pick it up and not wait. Unfortunately their phone was off the hook and I could not get through. I decided to drive and order at the counter to go. When I arrived I thought the place was closed — the open sign was not turned on and all the other beer signs were off. All this on a Monday evening at 6pm. I went in and there were only two employees working there. One was running the register and cooking and the other was busing tables. Order took 20 minutes to get my food. That left me plenty of time to look around the place and I quickly lost my appetite. Frack Burger is filthy. The restaurant is dirty, walls dirty, floor dirty, employees clothes dirty, holes on the wall with the menu… all bad. The burger was OK. The price is ridiculous for how run down the place is. Not as good as I remember it having been in the past. I think that will be my last time visiting Frack Burger. I am almost certain the employees put the phone off the hook on purpose given that the open sign was not on either. Sorry Frack, I want you to be good but it is just an overall bad experience.

This place is a killer. When we come down to Portland from Tacoma we always are sure to swing by. A super great hidden treasure. The burgers are really the best, the shakes are awesome. I’m a die hard in – n-out fan but this place might be even better. Real ceramic plates, metal utensils… much more green than throw away everything. Try the Bareback Frack but I will warn you; share an order of fries. the team of employees are really nice. Never, I mean never disappointed. Gives«Fracking» a good name!

They should call this place«we are out of burger» every time I go there they are out of buns, ice cream, people to cook. It sucks cause there burgers are good but they just dont seem to care about this location. Its crazy cause I dont think I have ever been there and they are not out of something.

Legit took forty five minutes to get our two burgers at 2pm when there was one other patron. These burgers used to be better, now the buns are McDonald’s status and they put American cheese on the burgers even when you tell them to don’t want plastic on your meat. Really sad because this place had such potential. I’ve seen the employees lose their minds over being so understaffed. Can’t believe it’s still in business. :(

I have been here 3 times in the last month, and I haven’t been disappointed at all. I order the bareback burger. It has onion rings and barbecue sauce with BACON! Yummy! The fries are delicious and so are the onion rings. I’ve never had bad service or bad food. I would highly recommend!

This place is obnoxiously inconsistent. I have had incredible burgers and great fries/rings, and i have had charred pucks of sadness and soggy fried foods. The staff and owners are quite nice, and the prices are reasonable, but eating here always feels like a gamble. If they’re firing on all cylinders, you’ll have a great meal for very little outlay… if not… you’ll wish you’d gone to Burgerville.

Service: superb! I wish I remembered the name of my super busy but attentive hostess! I was seated and updated about the status of my freshly made burger… which I appreciated because I was starving! My taste buds did a somersault with anticipation with each update! Then I got the food… Food:humongous portions! I needed a few stomachs to finish this meal! I was so excited for my first chomp! The burger looked delicious and appetizing but the flavor was… aite…and it was over cooked :(. Oh geesh… I chomped in anyway! The guacamole and onions gave some flavor to help compensate so it wasn’t too terrible but I wasn’t rejoicing. The onions rings which I was looking forward to were disappointing. They were über greasy and burnt and there was more batter than onion. Mannnnnn! I really wanted to love the onion rings! If I focused, there was some good flavor detected but it was lost in the burnt batter taste. I may be back to give them another shot but with so many calories, it better be damn good to be worth the amount of burpees I’ll have to do the next day!

I have given this place yet another chance. Service was not great, the burgers overcooked and it always takes forever. I tried to call in but they did not answer despite multiple attempts to call. The phone rang multiple times when i was there, also not answered. There was only one table of people eating in when u showed up. The diners came up to order more food after I had been already waiting 12 min for my food and they got their second order of food 5 min before my 2 burgers. Seriously?!;!*? The one positive is they are open until 11pm so it may be your only choice after 9 for an ok(but not great) burger. I’m not highly likely to come back anytime soon.

Sorry Frack Burger but after my last two experiences, I will not be back. First let me stay that I was excited when Frack Burger opened so close to my house. We had a fair amount of visits since the opening when I was very impressed with the taste and quality of the food. the service has always been a bit laid back and somewhat unprofessional, but I overlooked that because hey, it’s a burger joint, and the food was usually on par and consistent. Unfortunately, the last two times we have visited I have been sadly disappointed. I just returned with an order of a chili cheese dawg, chili cheese fries, a frack burger, and an Oreo shake. The Oreo shake was delicious. However, the patty in the Frack burger was so well done it was hard to bite through. The hot dog was about half of the normal size and looked like it may have been cut or bit off on one end. It was drenched in so much chile and cheese sauce that it was mush within 5 minutes of it being handed it me. The chili cheese fries were equally overloaded but the unfortunate part was the fries tasted like they were stale and reheated. At our previous disappointing visit, we received chicken tenders with all of the breading having fallen off, and chili cheese fries with onions that were just cheese fries(even though I was asked specifically if I wanted the onions and jalapeños). I know there were a couple of other issues but I can’t remember them. Because this had been my first poor experience, I chose not to mention it on Unilocal, but rather send an email through the website. I took a lot of time to write a thorough and objective email explaining my experience, emphasizing that this was my first negative experience. I never heard back from anyone. when I asked today about who receives the emails, I was told it was«the same guy that gets all the phone calls». It comes as no surprise that there are no responses from management on any of their reviews… I can overlook many things, but one thing I count on is consistency. If I am craving a chili cheese dawg or Frack burger, it is because it was so delicious last time. If I return and it is not only not as good, but a poor excuse for a meal, I’ll give you one exemption. Two times and I will no longer waste my hard earned money.

I am sad to report that 2 recent visits to Frack Burger were a BIG disappointment! My «to go» turkey burger didn’t have bacon on it, and the meat was RAW in the middle. Of course, I didn’t discover this until I bit into it when I got home. A phone call to Frack to complain resulted in nothing more than an apology — despite that fact that I had to throw the whole $ 10 «Gobbler» burger away because of the raw turkey patty. On my last(and final) visit to Frack yesterday, I didn’t even place an order. While standing at the cash register, I looked around the restaurant and noticed a lot of very frustrated looking customers waiting for their food. The order window must have had a dozen orders waiting to be filled. And, while I was standing there, a customer brought their burger back for the SECOND time complaining that the meat was RAW! The general feeling I got from behind the counter was the staff were new and ill-equipped to handle the volume of customers, and the cook just looked stressed out. I should mention that the owner of Frack was standing outside smoking and talking on his cell phone at the time. This place is beyond poorly run! I wouldn’t trust the food coming out of the kitchen.

I heard they use natural grass fed beef and local veggies so I thought I would stop in. I had never been to a Frack Burger and after this visit I never will again! Details to follow: ENVIRONMENT: There’s a lot of white spaces here. When you have light colored spaces the dirt is more noticeable, therefore you need to work harder to make things it look cleaner. The place was pretty greased and crumbed up. Greasy fingerprints all over the place and dirty floor. CUSTOMERSERVICE: The girl working the front counter was rude and condescending. I had never been here before and had a couple questions. I don’t think she had been working here long nor had been trained. She became very defensive when I asked a couple questions about the menu items and she didn’t know the answers. She didn’t even want to take the time to ask the guy in the kitchen who was in plain sight. FOOD: I ordered a Bacon cheeseburger. The burger was cooked well, bacon overcooked, minimal veggies and overkill on the sauce. It was a mess to eat. I ordered the hand cut fries as well and they were just OK. Not so good. They were not fresh but they looked like they were hand cut. They came with some sort of sauce that tasted like it was a mixture of Dijon, honey and mayonnaise for dipping. It was different than your typical fry sauce and was quite good. I ordered a medium diet coke and it was ¾ of the way packed with ice. I watched the girl who waited on me put the straw in it and she was having trouble and now I know why. PRICE: Everything is priced individually here. So for all this fun… a burger, fries, and a cup filled with ice cost $ 15.00. YOUHAVEGOTTOBEKIDDING! To stop this off… You have to go outside to get to the entrance to the restroom. lol So this visit was a train wreck Hopefully the owner will read the reviews on Unilocal and take their content as constructive criticism, get a good manager to turn this place around. 2015 – 99

Actually they close at 1055. I know we don’t like to be the last minute customer, but if an establishment closes at 11, they should lock the door at 11. Not ten minutes prior. Will try back… i guess.

I have actually eaten at this Frack Burger about 3 times since I wrote my review, and this last visit(regular Frack burger, fries, soft drink) prompted an update. I really liked this place the first time I went there, yet less so with each subsequent visit. On my first visit, I thought I was eating a hearty burger barbequed in the backyard. For this last visit: Deduct 1 star: I asked for no onions, as is typically the case, and, despite the place being almost empty, my burger was brought to my table with a pile of onions. Not only that, I typically ask for a side of Frack sauce for my fries, and it was missing. They fixed these mistakes immediately, but these are not outlandish requests. Worse yet, the shrinkage of the hamburger patty must indicate excessive cost control or something, because most of the experience was about the bread and the condiments, and not the hamburger’s ground beef patty itself, as was the case with my first visit to this joint. Deduct 1 star: Again, the place was sparsely visited, and some tables remained uncleaned for quite a while. For one table, it approached half an hour. For another table, it was about ten minutes since the patrons departed. I can handle ten minutes. I find half an hour unsavory since it doesn’t make for a good view. 4 — 2 = 2 stars They opened a new location in Boring, Oregon. Yes there is a Boring, Oregon and, yes, it is mostly boring. However, whether in Portland, Canby, or Boring, I doubt Frack’s clever red and white sign or this last careless(on their part) experience will cause me to visit again. There are so many good burger joints in most medium sized metropolitan areas. I really wanted to keep liking this place, but I can’t.

Came here on a weekday at 9pm – no line, not busy at all. Found out they had a HH special(2−5p, 8−11p) ¼ lb classic burger with fries for $ 5 add one dollar if you want onion rings. The burger was good. Reminded me of an In-N-Out burger with better quality meat and better sear on the outside of the burger. Onion rings were crispy, hot, and a bit greasy – but hey, they’re fried onion rings. Ask for ranch sauce. Chance the cashier/manager was very helpful, friendly and positive. I’ll probably come back again if I’m craving an In-N-Out type burger.

I think because its burger week I have burgers on the brain. My tween and I were running around today(we are on vacation) and stopped in here tor a turkey burger. You can also get beef or hemp. So my impression is its new but not super clean. There was a nice young lady at the register taking orders, delivering food, filling beverages, and answering the phone. I think the beverages and water should be help yourself and I heard another gentleman express that. She told him they want to do beverages as they’re moving to a sit down and be waited on format. hmm. In the meantime parties standing and waiting to order are 3 – 4 deep while shes filling water and delivering plates. I appreciated the big ice waters with lids and straws but I felt bad asking for them. I knew I was in trouble when they were out of guacamole(it was explained that their avocadoes are too hard and out of season, I didnt know that as we have been eating them like crazy for weeks now both out and at home). then I asked for roasted chiles and was told they were out of that too. ok. I ordered my kids burger dry with pickles, bacon, and Tillamook, and my burger with their sauce, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and swiss cheese. Hers was right(the bacon was floppy not crispy), mine lacked sauce and bacon. we both had fries and ice water. The fries were delicious. The lettuce was shredded, not my fav. On my way out a woman took the ketchup bottle from her table, walked up front and asked overworkedgirl for a full one. It was happy hour. A single frack burger, fries and a small drink could be had for $ 5. Add ons could set you back a few more bucks. So, what do I think? Well, put what you are out of up on a board somewhere. Get more help. Ripen your avocadoes. Let people get their own drinks. the fries were good. The turkey burger patties were good. My tomato slice was nice. Princess liked her turkey burger so we will probably go back. But. We miss Rachel’s and we like Cruise in Diner or Canyon Grill a bit better.
