Fisher Moving

I’m happy to report that my decision to trust my judgement and go with Fisher instead of paying heed to Stephen’s review was the right one. I can’t say enough about these guys, they just kicked ass. My girlfriend and I were initially referred to them by a friend of a friend who had apparently used them *four times,* so I figured they couldn’t be as bad as the below review suggests.
Here’s my experience: they arrived early, were personable, knowledgeable, careful and fast. The owner had paid our house a visit a week or so before the moving date to give us an estimate, and here’s the kicker — they came in almost $ 100 *under* that estimate, which was already below the other three moving companies that I called. We’re not in the best financial shape right now, so this was a godsend. I had no qualms about giving them the fat tip that they deserved.
NOTE: I mentioned this dismal Unilocal showing to the owner and he pointed out that while this review system hadn’t been kind to them, they enjoy around 30 great reviews and an A rating at Angie’s List, and I see that they were also awarded «Super Service» awards there for 2010 and 2011.
