If you’re looking for a cozy hose-down during your extended stay at Le Salon Du Providence, look no further than the fifth floor. They have the shower game on lock in this enormous facility. Not lucky enough to have a shower in your room? No problem! There are a couple stand-alones tucked away, too! Let’s talk ambiance. It’s a pretty typical tiny-like-a-breadbox set up shared with the toilet. But what makes the fifth floor showers special are the two lines of red tile bifurcating the room. It’s a nice touch and contrast to the less-exciting brown and beige tiles that encase the place. Supplies? If you’re a pro, you brought your own toiletries. But I sincerely hope no one is here is a pro, because no one needs to be in the hospital that much. Most likely, you have nothing with you. Fear not, they will hook you up with an amazing all-in-one product that can be soap AND shampoo, people! It’s like bodywash plus. It’s light blue. I enjoyed it so much I took it home. Once, I got a tiny bottle of Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo as well. Shower pressure: excellent. Linens: abundant. I was allotted approximately 37 towels, 3 bathmats, 14 washcloths, and 9 handtowels every day. That’s more drying power than I know what to do with. Not a drop of moisture left on me, that’s for damn sure. Bonus: they will also give you lotion, just ask! Same brand and color as the miracle wash. Take that with you, too. General: very clean. Safety: excellent. Just pull that red cord or whack the call button and hospital staff will be there in no time should you need assistance, ready to pull your naked self right out of there or just hand you another towel! Another bonus: there’s a chair in the shower. You could actually shower in the chair with your feet resting on the potty if you really wanted to. I recommend these showers without hesitation to any client of Le Salon Du Providence. I’m holding out for that fifth star for when they introduce some kind of salt scrub.
