I currently have well over a dozen reviews I have began writing but haven’t had the chance nor the inspiration to finish them. I have some as far off as July of this year. Every once in a blue moon you run into a business where you receive exceptional service and all of the sudden all the other reviews that have been sitting in your que no longer become important and the new review takes precedence over everything you do at that very moment. Today I received this level of service from Fastenal and I wanted to spend a few moments to talk about it.
I was hunting around for a air fitting for my shop that I manage today. This is just not any fitting but a very unique quick release fitting that over a half dozen tool and hardware stores and even industry suppliers did not have on hand. I walked in and was greeted by Sasha who was very quick to assist me in my dilemma. She was at first not able to find the tool I was looking for but was quick to offer me other alternatives other then the word «no». She called her distributor and was able to find the part that I needed. Although I did not order the part from her she did everything possible to make my experience the best possible by giving me every option available to me, doing the research to find the said part, and providing other distributors and suppliers that could possibly get the part for me today.
Its this level of service that I long to empart to my customers and the same kind of service I like to receive on a daily basis.
