He’s been here forever and very good at what he does. Very affordable but may take some time if you don’t mind. I’ve worked with another high end store in NW Portland and would continue choosing supporting this store :)

This is a one-​man show, not for the faint-​of-​heart. Owner is friendly and willing to do any job (it seems). You might have to wait a month to get your chair back, but you will be happy with the price and the quality.
The shop itself is a visual wonder, a true homage to Portlandia, with chairs stacked everywhere in all kinds and manner of fabrics and styles. Duck (sp), the owner, even offered to give me a free loaner or to use one of the many extra rolls of fabric that he has on hand.

Dan is a true artist and he takes great pride in his work. We recently had him reupholster a sofa and cannot imagine anyone doing a better job. He had some fabric left over and he made us a few decorative pillows – wow! He’s quite the character to boot!
