Elizabeth is amazing! When we had our consultation I had a hard time putting into words what my vision was but she somehow managed to pull off everything I had imagined! Her arrangements were flawless and unique. Everyone was complimenting the flowers. My bouquet was so beautiful, I don’t think I put it down the whole evening. The boutonnieres she crafted for the groomsmen were also super incredible. The quality of her work is undeniable and incredibly impressive. I am so glad we found her! I’d recommend her to any bride.

When my mother got engaged we knew right away we wanted to use Espe’s, and we couldn’t have been happier! The wedding was on a hot summer day and the scents she chose (including lavender and basil) added a refreshing and elegant flare. The bouquets and boutonnières she arranged were incredible and reflected exactly what my mother had envisioned. I would absolutely recommend her for any occasion!

I’ve worked on 4 weddings (as the photographer) where Elizabeth was creating the floral arrangements and I have loved her work EVERY TIME. I would describe it as French Romantic with big open antique roses, succulents, wild posies, you name it. Her bouquets are full, «fluffy» and simply breathtaking.
I was photographing a wedding at Postelwait farms, and I wish you could have seen the ceremony set-​up. This giant rustic arch covered with rich flowers, lilies, roses, peonies… everyone just loved it.
She captured the brides vision exactly, and everyone was thrilled with the tabletop arrangements and the boutonnieres.
If you want soft, romantic, whimsical florals– Elizabeth is your girl!

My dear friend’s brother-​in-​law passed away unexpectedly and I wanted to send her some flowers to brighten her day. I popped on Unilocal and saw Espe’s great reviews, then linked over to the website and was very impressed. I placed my order online and Elizabeth called me a short while later to discuss. I explained my friend is a nature lover and not a traditional person. Elizabeth asked if she could deliver the following day so she could source some local in-​season flowers, which I happily agreed to. Well, my friend just posted a picture of the bouquet on Instagram and it is UNREAL. Talk about going above and beyond. Espe is now my florist of choice!

I used Espe Floral + Foliage for my wedding bouquet, and was thrilled to bits with the result! Elizabeth was a joy to work with: Kind, considerate, relaxed and professional. Furthermore, she took my inspiration– a tiny screen shot from my favorite film ‘White Christmas’- and turned it in to a beautiful fall bouquet that was both traditional and unique, AND exactly what I had hoped for. In fact, I loved the bouquet so much, I brought it on my husband and I’s mini-​moon! I couldn’t bear leaving it at home with no admirer’s.

Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Even with my very limited floral vocabulary Elizabeth always seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and got the aesthetic I was looking for right away. She always surprised me by how quickly she responded to my emails — it made planning my out-​of-​state wedding much easier! She was also very conscious of my budget — I never felt pressured to go with something more expensive and Elizabeth offered several suggestions to help me stay within my price range, while still achieving the same aesthetic I was looking for. In the end, we had beautiful flowers that I truly loved (especially my bridal bouquet — gorgeous!). Love love love!!! Thank You Elizabeth!

Elizabeth Artis is a stunningly talented florist and floral designer — she can do everything from simply elegant to jaw-​dropping «who-​would-​think-​of-​that-​wow» — her combinations are gorgeous, inventive and a delight to behold. Lucky you, Portlanders! (We’re not completely left out of the scene; we get to enjoy her work second-​hand when she posts pictures of her work!)
