I absolutely love Lauren at Entrust. I’m PRETTY sure she gives the best scalp massages in Portland. Also, I’m a big fan of the Paul Mitchell products she’s recommended for my blonde hair.

Leslie is your answer for a haircut. I am so glad I found her! I was really struggling with some waves I had put in and now my hair looks great with no effort: D Best you could as for! THANK YOU!

Mikala is a hair MAGICIAN. We’ve done bayalage, dark brown, blonde, light brown, everything – it always turns out amazing and perfect on my skin tone! She has a great understanding of color chemistry and which shades will look good on each individual person (other stylists would make my hair too brassy, ugh).
Love this salon and love Mikala! I recommend this place to everyone.

I would say four years is about time for an update! Entrust has just gotten better and better, which is hard to believe because it has always been fantastic.
Lauren and Sean are great and still at the salon. Since my last review, they’ve welcomed some incredible new talent. So much so, that I actually trusted one of the «newbies» Samantha with my locks. Samantha was up for the challenge of putting up with me, and did just an absolutely stunning job on my color.
Sean is still my number one for cuts, and always will be, so he takes care of the styling side of my hair.
Love these guys, and love their salon.

Leslie is amazing. She listens to my ideas and has suggestions when I want or need them. She’s hardworking, caring, gives a great scalp massage, and makes my hair look awesome! Everyone at Entrust is kind and helpful. Great place!

I can not say enough good things about Entrust hair salon! Lauren does the absolute BEST blonde in Portland. Sean and all the stylists there are so friendly and accommodating. I just love love love Entrust hair! Not to mention the Paul Mitchell products they use are amazing!

Love, love LOVE Leslie at Entrust. I have naturally curly hair and it’s hard finding someone who does curly hair well. I’ve seen her for over a year now and have always left loving my hair. Leslie has a gorgeous head of long curly hair herself so she GETS it. Not only does she always give me an awesome cut but she’s a wealth of information as far as helping you achieve the style you’re after outside of the salon. She’s also taken me from super-​dark brown to blonde and I get nothing but compliments on my color. Entrust has a great atmosphere and all of the stylists are friendly and personable. I’ve found my place and my gal and I highly recommend it!

I’m afraid my experience isn’t the same as previous reviewers. Suffice to say that as she’s finishing up the styling portion of my cut and color, I realize I’m now a blond, not a chesnut haired woman with highlights. I murmur something about it being much lighter than expected and she assures me that I’ll love it. The next morning when I am styling my hair I discover that despite my specific instructions, she had cut layers into my hair. In the weeks since, my hair got LIGHTER. yea, still think of her every morning when I try to deal with having layers (aka light bangs) again.

The location is super convenient for me. I can get off work at 5 and be there for a 5:00 appointment. Lucky me.
I saw Sean last year for a free consultation (was considering chemical straightening).
I’ve seen Sam twice since. She’s absolutely amazing! I’m jealous of her hair.
The best part is the scalp massage during the wash. Sam gives the absolute best massage ever. That, coupled with the tea tree conditioner, leave my head tingling well after my blow out.
She’s meticulous in her refining, and she takes her time to get everything right.

I chopped my hair a while ago, and I finally got to that awkward, blunt, past the shoulder length and decided I wanted to try extensions for the first time. I was shopping around, as it turns out, most places in Portland charge over $ 1000 for extensions (which is insanity if you ask me). After my somewhat disappointing search, I found Entrust, who would not only do high quality tape-​in, remy, human hair extensions for less than half the price of their competitors, but do them well with a smile. I have red hair, and they dyed it a glorious dark auburn for fall, and they dyed the extensions to match, it is gorgeous! Also, I want to mention that they give out wine and beer! I had two glasses of red wine while I relaxed and read magazines and was pampered. They give neck and head massages when they wash your hair too! I had Sean doing my extensions, but a whole team of people helped with coloring, blow-​drying, etc. And all of them were awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable. I couldn’t recommend this place more! You will look great when you leave the salon.

I try to stay away from coloring my hair beacause I had a really bad experience, once, at a bishops. Entrust fully restored my faith in getting my hair colored again, except I will ONLY go to Entrust from now on! Great people, talented stylists, and great atmosphere. Can’t wait till I get to comeback again. I got my hair cut and ombré by Leslie. She’s amazing!

Super happy with my cut and color and the price was completely reasonable! I had both Sean and Alina working on my hair and both were phenomenal. I took my son there as well and his cut turned out super cute! It’s totally my new spot.

I had a hair emergency! My hair was past my butt, very thick and wavy. I had a huge knot in the back causing headaches and could not get it out. For four days i had tried with no success I called random places, in tears looking for someone to cut my hair off. Ben took me in that evening and cut it off. Ben said he could work the knot out but I was in so much pain. I now have very short hair, its a cute little style but I it. Ben was very understanding and helpful in a time of need. The store is clean, friendly service and caring people. I could not of asked for anything more of this stylist. Thank you Ben!!!

I finally went to Entrust Hair for a cut /​color /​style. Sean is amazing! He gave me a new look with great color. I have been going to the same gal for 4 years and felt I needed a change. Glad I followed my instincts to change it up! Sean is my new sytlist :)

Several years ago I used to go to an old-​time barber, but then he retired. I then bounced around from various mega quick-​cut places that give you a «Seven Dollar Haircut» for a few years. My hair showed the lack of care and consistency that an impersonal environment and low-​cost, high-​volume gets you. So, I went looking for something better. And better is what I found at Entrust Hair.
There are a ton of salons in town, but it’s kind of a crap shoot finding someone you can trust. As a guy, salons can have the feel of walking into the ladies room; a lot feel like they’re only for women. That is NOT the case at Entrust. Sean, the owner, is a man’s man through and through with an affinity for tattoos and metal music from the 80s, and the salon feels gender neutral. I liked that. Lauren actually does my hair, and has been for what seems like forever now. It’s great having someone you can talk to, trust and does a great scalp massage! I get consistency with my hair cuts and a lot more personal service that I ever got at the «Seven Dollar Haircut» places.
The location of the salon is convenient for me too, and appointment times are flexible, but I’d suggest you rebook after each appointment to make sure you can get in when you want. I’ve recommended Entrust to several of my friends, and a half dozen or so now are loyal clients. If you are unhappy with who’s hacking at your hair currently, give Entrust a try! Lauren has been my stylist for nearly two years and I have never had a bad experience. She blows me away every time with her amazing work and I always leave loving the new style even more than the one before.
I am one of those clients who never has any idea what she wants and always relies on Lauren and Sean to pick out something that will look good on me. They are always on point and I never have any doubt in letting them just do their thing. They know that I like to keep my hair pretty natural and simple looking and they always come up with the prettiest color combinations to execute that.
I seriously love Lauren and Sean and refuse to go anywhere else. I have been living in Northern California for the past six months and cannot wait to get back up there to see them!

When I first moved to Portland from LA I went as long as I could with out getting a hair cut and color. I had a trusty stylist in LA who never let me down and I was beyond terrified to have a stylist in a smaller city ruin my locks.
I had a friend who suggested I try Entrust to get my hair cut and colored. They also had a rad deal going at the time that included a special offer on highlites.
Lauren has been my stylist for almost two years now. I have never had a bad color or cut here. They listen to what you want and also cut to your hair texture and face shape. They understand my goal for long, Victoria’s Secret model esq hair I want and don’t push any over edgy cuts or colors on me.
I’m back in LA and now I won’t let an LA stylist touch my hair! I always wait to get my hair done when I visit Portland or when ever Sean and Lauren make a trip down to LA.
I also love how laid back they are in the salon. They are friendly but not over chatty. Good selection of magazines, good music, offer a delicious beverage and do not act stuck up like many of the salons in NW and Pearl District.

I was referred to Dene at Entrust by a friend, and I adore her. She listened to what I wanted and executed exactly the haircut I was looking for. She was also super-​friendly and easy to talk to.
Also, although I don’t color my hair, her work looks great on my friend.
