Whatever city we are in we seek out the green, non toxic, eco conscience cleaners. When I found Eco-Dry cleaners I was excited. They are attentive, nice and pick up on time. The one thing they don’t seem to understand is the concept of a reusable garment bag. We have told them so many times I have stopped asking. When you give a dry cleaner a reusable bag to put your clothes in that doesn’t mean to put plastic on them and then put them in the reusable bag. It also doesn’t mean to ignore the reusable bag all together. «Eco» means eco. All around. Less waste, less toxics and socially responsible business practices. I wish all businesses could have a more holistic view on sustainability and environmental operations. The first thing on green garmento’s website next to describing their bag is «Eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic drycleaning bags» I don’t think that is a coincidence…

This place is dope!!! This dry cleaning drop spot is located inside seven planet which is Portland’s first green general store. Very cool spot. It is definitely convenient having the drop spot in Old Town/China town and I love all of the different eco-aspects of their business. I would recommend this to all Portlanders:)
