Ken is that craftsman who has been in the upholstery business for a long time and is very knowledgable in his craft. I’m happy with the work on mid century modern furniture I’ve taken him but have also seen beautiful Victorian pieces he’s completed in his shop. The kind studio dog, Cece, is also part of a visit to Ken’s shop.

Opps, my good stuffed dining room chair seat broke, with a whack! Eastside to the Rescue! For a pleasantly reasonable price, an informative cheerful chat followed by a swift repair, Ken made my chair disaster into a chair pleasure. He is interested in style, form, function and the history of your furniture and he knows what he’s talking about when he speaks of what goes where and why. All in all a master craftsman and a gentleman. Only challenge is finding him tucked inside that industrial complex, although he makes it easier with good directions. Highly recommend his work and his character. Bravo. and many thanks.
