Casual and friendly, this intimate meditation group was the one that really got me into Buddhist meditation and having a healthier outlook on life.
This is more «Western-​friendly,» which I like, and the style of meditation is very accessible. A lot of visualization and mantras, as opposed to long bouts of sitting and breathing. Talk to John or Gretchen for an intro. Come in, grab a cushion, hear a ten minute talk about a Buddhist topic, do a short meditation, and stay and mingle if you like. It’s a fun group of people — warm, with a great sense of humor.
If it’s your thing, there are more in depth teachings, retreats, etc. that you can inquire about.
Highly recommended.

Good group of people to sit and meditate with on Monday and Wednesday nights. Friendly and open.
