Delicious Caribbean Food

I really love this cart. I come here every week for the beef salsa and friend plantains. If you’re looking for something really spicy and delicious get the chicken plantains with pikliz. Super good and super cheap. You get a huge amount of food for just $ 6. Also, if you come on the right day, you can try the grio, which is out-​of-​this-​world haitian pork. This is the only place in town to get Haitian food, definitely deserves a try, I doubt you’ll be disappointed!

The charming Haitian guy who runs this place is awesome. The food is awesome. Try the «caribbean chicken» — three chicken legs, amazingly delicious beans and rice, super spicy habañero cole slaw, and fresh tomato and lettuce all for $ 6. The one with fried plantains was really good also.
He’s beta testing pork — tell him you’d like it. Also he said he might try fish, which would be great. Also it’s near my work so good local lunch takeout.
Next time I go I’ll recommend he renames it «hisname’s Haitian Food» and Portland will beat a path to his cart. Have you tried Haitian food?
