Dana Thompson Tanks and Soil

Mr. Thompson’s performance of the contract was so deficient that I am out several thousand dollars in expenses for damage to my property and rent I had to pay because he rendered my home unlivable. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your tank removal needs.

I have used Dana for over eight years as a realtor in Portland. He has always been up front and honest. Oil tank work is kinda of an art, so its good to have some one that can come up with Good Safe and Resonable Cost solutions. Thanks Dana

Incompetent. During the process of a 7 day home inspection, we took our realtor’s word for it and hired Dana Thompson to sort out whether or not the oil tank had been decomissioned.
After cancelling our scheduled appointment — causing us quite a lot of stress, since it meant we wouldn’t know oil tank status until Day 6 of our inspection window — the team reported back the next day. «There are pipes, so it hasn’t been decomissioned,» summarizes the depth of their inspection.
The next day, the seller finally produced… surprise! Documentation that the oil tank HAD in fact been COMPLETELY decomissioned back in 2000.
In sum, we are completely baffled as to how these ‘professionals’ could have missed this, and left to assume that they either a) didn’t do their job or b) did a crappy job but definitley c) collected $ 225 from us.
