D Bar Garage Doors

I had to get some locks re-​keyed AND get my garage door repaired, and I was fortunate to find Dotan Bar of D Bar Construction, who was able to handle both in one visit. Dotan was very personable and professional, and did a great job. I am very happy with his work and would highly recommend him to anyone. (I enjoyed meeting his cute boxer puppy Raffi, too!)

What a joy to find Dotan Bar! OK — here’s the story: our «original equipment» (aka 1986) garage door opener was still quite functional, but had begun to randomly open apparently all on it’s own at various times of day and night, so — even with other things seemingly of higher priority — I began the process of researching a replacement/​upgrade. Of all the companies I’d called and talked with, Dotan Bar impressed me the most with his genuine attention and clear caring, right from the outset. He came through with a competitive rate on quality equipment and was able and willing to schedule right away. I found him to be a total pro in every sense of the word — he was absolutely terrific, did his work efficiently and with confidence (that’s where experience, knowledge and understanding, mean everything), and was truly enjoyable to be around (not a requirement in a contractor, but sure a big plus!). He also made sure it was matched up to our cars on-​board controller before he left (thank you for that too!) A neighbor had recommended Dotan Bar to me and I will be forever grateful for it – it’s a pleasure and an honor to add my endorsement as well. (Thanks again, Dotan!!)
