Crepes Plus

This place was amazing so much more then I expected! I got the fish and chips and was grateful to find the following, fresh fish the batter soft and made from scratch, in house fries, but what sold me was the home made fry sauce! Overall pretty impressive for food truck fare!

Once again, a super friendly place at cartlandia. I got the trailblazer but got peanut butter instead of Nutella (nut allergy) it was great and quick service too. The fruit they used was all very fresh.

Friendly service, generously filled crepes appealing to both the savory and the sweet. Great meal in and of itself, or a treat after another truck. Will definitely come by again.

Wonderful fish and chips and actual homemade french fries. Crepes for a meal as well as the dessert crepes are fantastic. The owner, Randy, is very friendly and gives his customers discounts.

I had the meat lovers here and it was tasty and filling, yet it doesn’t feel greasy or «heavy.» The service was also friendly and quick. I totally recommend this place for brunches and for stops along random afternoon walks.

I was nearby on a frigid morning and needed breakfast. After ordering, I stood shivering outside the cart and the owner told me to go wait in my car and he would bring it to my window when the order was ready. Awesome. He also forgot to charge me extra for the gluten free crepes, and when he remembered, told me not to worry — it was on the house. Super friendly and kind service. Crepes were pretty good too.

It was post lunch rush, the owner Randy was super friendly and cool! The fish and chips were pretty dang good! The very berry crêpe was out of this world awesome!!! He gave us three forks so my family could share. This is one of my new favorites places! Go here, enjoy an amazing meal and the great people! This place ROCKS!!!

Gluten Free Crepes! Friendly service & delicious food! Will return! The Californian was a savory treat.

First of all, the owner is super friendly and super accommodating. He happily chats with you while he’s making your order… and OMG the crepes are to die for! They’re true to tradition; a heavenly crispiness on the outside but the nice chewy pancakeness on the inside which is NOT easy to do in such a thin product.
I chose the trailblazer (?) with Nutella, Strawberries AND Banana slices… and he was nice enough to add whipped cream at my request — even though it’s not normally served that way.
When I brought it back to our table and shared it with the hubs & MIL… it was like a free-​for-​all. I’m SO GLAD they only offer plastic silverware, or one of us would have likely lost a finger.
I’ll go back again and again and again JUST for this crêpe place! I can’t wait to try one of their savory options… but can’t even IMAGINE not getting the same thing again next time.

Perfect breakfast if you’re really hungry (or hung over)! The crepes are huge, and they’ll make you whatever tickles your fancy — not just what’s on the menu. If you bike here on the Springwater Trail and you’re starving, get a huge delicious crêpe and don’t be surprised that it doesn’t sit in your stomach like a brick!

RANDY, we love him the last two visits to the food carts we always look to see if hes home. The gluten free thanksgiving left overs crêpe is so grubulishious! turkey, cranberries, cream cheese. mmmm hits the spot! Thanks Randy for your fun conversation while cheffing up our crepes that are fresh! we will continue to return to check off every crêpe on your list!

I tried this place out because I was told it was good. The experience was decent, but I don’t think crepes are to be served in this way. The food quality and presentation was good and the prices were very fair for the portion size. I got the Stephanie Crêpe (Eggs, Bacon, Cheese, tomatoe and avocado) for $ 6.50 and the Bavarian Cream Crêpe for $ 5. I’m not up on what crepes are supposed to look like, but these things seemed huge, when I’m thinking a crêpe should be tiny.
The Stephanie seemed just to be an omelette wrapped in a tortilla. I’d rather just have the omelet part (which is a great combo) since the crêpe part didn’t seem to fit. I don’t see crepes as meals/​wraps. The Bavarian Crêpe was more like what I was expecting. It was cream filled with whipped cream and chocolate. It had the perfect dessert taste. I was confused as to why there were no ‘normal’ crepes of plain whipped cream and strawberries.

This place is quite good. Been there twice now, once for breakfast and once for dinner. The breakfast crêpe had eggs, cheese and sausage, but it was missing something, maybe a little salt and pepper. Overall decent though. The crêpe I had for dinner was really good, it had turkey, bacon, avocado and cream cheese. This was really really good! The bacon was amazing! I really want to try the sweet crepes next, they sound yummy! Their fries are really good too. The best part is the owner, he’s so nice. He’s polite and gets his food out quick. Highly recommend!

I took my two children on a food truck excursion in Portland during spring break. I read many glowing reviews about Crepes Plus, so it was definitely a must visit on our to-​do list.
My son ordered The Eric crêpe, which contained bacon and Nutella. It was the first time that he had tried bacon in a combination with something sweet. It had a nice amount and mix of bacon and Nutella such that it was not overwhelmingly sweet nor salty.
My daughter had The Classic crêpe, which contained turkey, swiss cheese, spinach, and honey mustard. It tasted like a classic authentic sandwich and had a good mix of flavors. It was very filling but also satisfying.
The texture of both crepes were spot on.
As an added treat, we had an Orange Blast drink after seeing the lady in front of us order one after her bicycle ride. We visited on the first day that this drink was offered. It is somewhat similar to an Orange Julius, but smoother. The whipped cream was a great addition to the drink, and just the right amount. An Orange Blast is very refreshing on a hot day. We highly recommend it as a must-​get item. Despite the excellent crepes, the Orange Blast was the highlight of our meal.
In addition to the great food, the owner Randy provides superior friendly personal service. The next time we are in Portland, we will definitely come back to Crepes Plus in the Cartlandia food cart pod.

This place is simply awesome, especially since they offer gluten-​free options at a very reasonable price. Definitely my favorite spot in Cartlandia. The Mexi, PNW, & Thanksgiving Leftover are all excellent. I’ve yet to try them all, but I can tell you that regardless of what you order, the crepes are pretty big and very satisfying. I also finally tried the Cheddar Bacon fries and they are awesome! They remind me of my grandma’s home cooked fries. Large servings and pretty easy on the wallet. You just can’t go wrong here!

True to the cart’s name, Crepes Plus is now more than just crepes. A few more savory items and sweet items have made it to this expanding menu.
Savory dishes include poutine and fish and chips. It’s a soft batter here, meaning the fried fish isn’t crispy. Cart-​made tartar sauce is a winner.
My eyes basically saw «poutine» and it was all over. For $ 7.25, a nice helping of fries, gravy, and cheddar cheese curds. When I had it a couple weeks ago, the gravy was your usual brown gravy. Awesome golden-​brown color on the fries, but hoped for a bit more crispy exterior. The curds are probably as good as you can find here; no sense comparing it to the super-​squeaky stuff found in Canada.
Crepes clearly remain the huge seller here. I saw a deep-​fried PB&J crêpe as a seasonal special and hoped it would make it to the regular menu.
TIP: You can customize your crêpe. If the ingredients are in the cart, it can be done!

What a pleasant surprise and nice treat this place turned out to be! since some of Crêpe Plus’s neighbor’s @ Cartlandia don’t take plastic yet, serendipity and necessity took us here, and we surely can be considered the winners by way of the transaction.
The Reuben was a monster mash-​up of tasty pastrami, crunchy, vinegary kraut, and 1000 island (I think there was cheese in there as well, but it was the extra bacon that really pulled this one away from the pack of your run of the mill Reubens). We also shared a breakfast crêpe (our tastes tend toward savory and distinctly away from sweet). plentiful egg, cheese, with extra onion, spinach and b-​a-​c-​o-​n. A couple orders of chili cheese fries appeased our compadres back at the workplace and everyone involved was a little bit happier and more enriched from the experience.
While realizing that this *Is* a crêpe specialty cart, my one main objection was the sweetness of the wraps. These looked like quesadilla-​type wheat flour wraps, with a fancy, crinkly, ‘doily-​like’ trim on top. They were distinctively lighter, gooier and yes indeedy, much sweeter than a quesadilla/​burrito type tortilla. There’s no question that we are a culture that takes our addiction to sweets seriously, and I am just one lonely voice in the wilderness… even so, if I had my way these creations would be nearly or entirely sugar free, and the cart evaluation as a whole would well on the way to 5 stars, baby.
A special nod to the service here. Ask them about their «RAK» special…

Crepes Plus has both savory and dessert crepes for just $ 6 – 8 at Cartlandia (where a bunch of other trucks are there as well!). They also have floats and soft served ice cream too!
We ordered a ham and cheese crêpe and another salmon and cream cheese and, they were made fresh and tasted good! The wait wasn’t long either and the cleanliness seems to be one of the very tops among all the trucks there! Heck, the guy even decorated his truck’s surrounding space with pots of fresh, live flowers and plants! :)
The owner was super friendly. He came out to talk to us, generally seemed very enthusiastic and enjoyed what he was doing. He had a very good service mind. Not only he came out to give us our crepes at our tables (when he could have just asked us to run over and grab our crepes at his truck!), he also came out to chat, and even helped us clean up before we left (when we didn’t even ask!). Very great experience with this truck and wouldn’t mind eating there a gain! Very good value for the price you pay!

The Crepes were theee best! I was on vacation from Los Angeles & the gentleman who made the Crepes (I believe he is the owner as well) was very kind & entertaining! He made the crêpe experience fun! He let us experiment with our crêpe ingredients &
those Crepes were a definite highlight to my vacation! I would recommend this place to any & everyone!

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday. The man who I believe owns the cart was super friendly and talkative. I love savory crepes, and think they’re extremely under-​rated. He provided me with recommendations and helped me narrow down what I thought I wanted.
I tried the Mexi-​Crêpe which has seasoned ground beef, tomatoes, onions, cheese and sour crème on top. It was surprisingly good, almost reminiscent of eating a burrito with a fork. Came with their own mild salsa, which kind of reminded me of the pace you buy in the store. Not sure if it was made in house or not.
The crêpe was huge, and extremely filling — it totally hit the spot. They have more traditional savory crepes (ham and cheese, breakfast, etc) and a selection of sweet crepes! I do like a sweet crêpe every now and then, but would definitely need to find a friend to share it with because they are seriously huge! I will definitely be back to try more of what this gem has to offer!
The prices were reasonable also, ranging from 6 – 8 bucks.
