This is one of the most useless MAX stops. I mean, you can throw a stone from the Rose Quarter stops to this one. If you’re just THAT lazy, well, wow. I hate this stop.
(Though if you want to try ducking TriMets fare checkers during sportsballgames, this is the stop people usually use, so real smart there too TriMet).

Portland, OR
The Convention Center MAX station, appropriately named for being next to the Oregon Convention Center, is an okay station. You’ll get lots of personalities since the Lloyd District has both the fast food and fine dining crowd.
The Red, Blue and Green Lines go here. The statiom shows the usual times of arrival and provides lots of space to get off the train. The location near the Rose Quarter Transit Center and a few shops like Burgerville and in the Llyod Center gives a bit more ways to start your morning.
Expect the occasional crazed maniacs laughing, but you’ll be in one piece most likely. It’s just a little bit racy for Portland being west of the I-​205.
The sidewalks allow for quick access to the Rose Quarter.
This station is a useful station for Portland residents.
