Contract Furnishings Mart

Contract Furnishing Mart is a great resource! I have worked with their helpful and friendly staff for over ten years and have always been highly satisfied with their knowledge of products, willingness to research availability, follow through on orders, patience in helping me with my selections, and all around great support. They all go out of their way to provide exemplary service and I have no hesitation in recommending CFM wholeheartedly as one of Portland’s best and most trusted resources.

I went to pick up my tile, and was disappointed again. I had called earlier to confirm it was in, and was told it was. However, it wasn’t mentioned it was in a warehouse across town. When I got there the sales guy told me it was here, but showed me where it had the other address on my sheet.
Really? You got me. technically it has the address on there. Not where it says sold to. Not where it says ship to. but it is on the sheet. I called Nicole who was helpful. She had someone pick up the tile that was available, and bring it to a warehouse that was open on Friday. She was the best I worked with. The rest of the order was supposed to be at this other warehouse on Monday, but maybe wouldn’t get unloaded till Tuesday. She told me that they would call as soon as it was ready. I got a call on Wednesday at 2:11, and the place closes at 4:30. So i finally got my tile yesterday. just shy of two weeks after I thought I’d get it.
Overall one solid effort was made by Nicole to help get my tile. Most of the time people were polite, but not really helpful or empowered to do anything. The communication process is 0 stars. All but one call was made by me to them. I worked with a different flooring place for my wood flooring, and the experience was 100% the opposite.
Also on a different suggestion in general to all tile store. It would be helpful to sort your materials by color rather than by manufacturer. No one cares who makes them, and having them listed by brand makes it harder to compare. Focus on putting your customers experience first.
