So thrilled to have found this place soon after I moved here! Great people, thoughtful and caring therapists — if you like deep tissue, then this place is for you. P. S. They have a parking arrangement with the florist next door.

I have had debilitating pain from fibromyalgia for years. My doctor referred me. Best referral ever!
The therapists are very skilled in techniques. These are true deep tissue therapists, but they can go light if needed. They do everything they can to help people in acute pain and get them in right away. I have never been treated so well in the last 27 years of care. When I think about how far I’ve come with this group in the last year it makes me feel excited for the future. They have free parking and except a lot of insurances. Also, very reasonable priced for the best massage therapists in the Portland area with the most experience. I have had a ton of massage over the years.

I started going to Clare several years ago when I hurt my leg while running a marathon. She helped identify the damage and helped me heal the injury. I was so pleased with her massage technique and results that I scheduled regular appointments. It was so restorative and helped my body with my running training. I moved from Portland two years ago and schedule time with Clare when I come back. She is not only a great massage therapist but a delightful person.

Clare is the type of therapist that one hopes to find with out years of searching. I was recently in Portland for a visit and had a recommendation to go to Clare for a massage. The experience was amazing. She was knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. I felt relaxed and refreshed! I plan to add her to my to-​do list for any subsequent visits.

The therapists at East bridge wellness are exceptional. I have been in twice for chronic pain and love deep work. Each time I left feeling like the therapist listened to my needs and gave me the therapeutic massage I’m so in need of. The facility is clean, modern and parking is a breeze.

Simple-​Clare fixed me. I was having lower back problems in the sacrum area for months. She talked to me thru the whole massage to pin-​point the pain areas and used massage, pressure points, and cupping to target the pain. I have never had a massage that relieved the pain so well. I went to other massage therapists and a chiropractor for the pain but Clare was the one who was effective with her treatment. I highly recommend her.

Wow. I feel so blessed to be have been able to meet with Clare. Not only are her hands magic, and seamlessly connected to the intention she puts into every move, she’s also one of the coolest people you may ever meet. Had such a wonderful and healing time with her, and feel infinitely better than when I first walked through the doors of East Bridge Massage.

I know Clare and her staff from a medical professional perspective. This gives me a view of her that a patient may not see. Clare has so many incredible attributes that can go unnoticed during a treatment that I felt the need to express them.
Clare has an incredible knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and can easily converse with other medical practitioners about a patient’s condition. Believe it or not, this is not always easy to find. Additionally, she treats the psychological aspect of rehabilitation that goes hand-​in-​hand with physical rehab, but often gets overlooked. Clare invests in her business to provide the most up-​to-​date techniques and tools to improve patient outcomes. Finally, Clare is extremely dedicated to improving patient outcomes and goes out of her way to identify the appropriate style of therapy that the patient needs. She does this on her time; even with a very busy schedule.
Bottom line: Clare goes above and beyond what is asked of her for patient care and practitioners like her need to be recognized.

I’ve had several massages with Clare and her associates at the Eastbridge wellness center and I would definitely recommend her to anyone I know. Not only is she an excellent massage therapist but she is an extremely knowledgable holistically and is trained in many mind/​body healing arts. She can get booked far out though, make sure to schedule ahead!

When I first starting seeing Clare my insurance was being a big pain and she went above and beyond to work with them. She is an amazing massage therapist and really knows what she’s doing. Along with being an amazing person in general, she is also full of knowledge about what seems to be about everything. She’s the best! :) I highly recommend her.

I’ve been going to Clare on and off for the past year. My boyfriend has been going to her for years. She’s amazing. I work in business that keeps me on my feet and working a lot. She has always taken time from her busy schedule to fit me in whenever my back gets messed up because I don’t go as often as I should does deep pressure and gives me tips on how to stretch through out the day so that I can keep my back going. All I can say is overall she’s helpful, knowledgeable, and her massages are amazing.

Why not other massage therapists? I’ve needed massage for years and have tried many different LMTs, but stopped my trials when I discovered how good Clare is. Clare does her massage specifically for your body, which is what everyone wants, right? People don’t want to just receive a LMT’s massage routine that they’ve done over and over, rather they want their unique problems fixed. That’s what Clare does better than I’ve found anywhere else. Also I like that she does deep tissue work while asking me if it’s the right amount.

I highly recommend Clare for both relaxation-​oriented massage or to address a specific injury. I was lucky enough to get referred to Clare just before I got into a car accident. Clare was incredibly supportive to me during my recovery — she gave me fantastic massages, addressing my issues as they arose and modifying her techniques as my healing progressed. Clare also gave me awesome advice on vitamins as well as referrals to other health practitioners who share her (and my) philosophies. Another plus is her skill/​willingness to deal with insurance issues, should you need it. Yet another plus is that Clare is just plain awesome and it’s always a pleasure to be around her in her comfortable and peaceful space. I suggest you visit her right away!

If you want the best guide in hypnoses, then you have found what everyone would want in one human being. Clare guides with such ease and steady pacing, you actually feel your controlling mind letting go. Also, if you want the best massage you can imagine, you have found your woman. Highly recommended!
