This lil food cart in DT Portland is run by folks with big hearts and even bigger flavors. They’ve delivered to our workplace on two occasions now and their breakfast burritos are a huge hit. I always thought I didn’t like chorizo, apparently I was wrong. The El Rojo burrito is a generous portion of chorizo, eggs, potato and cheddar cheese. It’s a big burrito but it doesn’t feel heavy in your tummy. Don’t let that deter you if you have a big appetite, you won’t eat this whole burrito and still be hungry. The Monicazo, from what my coworkers tell me was perfect the first time and a little salty this last time… Oh and if you don’t want it in a burrito go «breakfast nachos» style and have them put the insides of the burrito over chips instead.

Omg… The enchiladas are exactly what i remember my grandma making growing up. They took a ball of corn and made fresh tortillas after I ordered. I had to wait a tad but it was totally worth it. The food was amazing and so authentic.

Menu is priced between $ 4 to $ 6.50 for a combo. This is an especially great value for the fresh and authentic ingredients used. I can’t get enough of the veggie quesadilla. I’ve been working downtown for a few months and had been so excited to regularly try new carts. That was until I found this cart, and I’m hooked. Staff is kind and genuine.
