Just Amazing! I’ve looked all over for this kind of stuff. And HERE it is! From Austin, TX to Portland OR, I have never seen anything that compares. I’m just sayin. They have a serious sense of style.

She has the hats, the earrings, the belts/​scarves and the fabulous, exclusive clothes that you won’t see on anyone else except maybe that model in the fashion mag. But the cool thing about these clothes is they are wearable and affordable even for a curvyish gal like me.
I am over the moon for a little denim dress… my friend bought some high waisted shorts with some embellishment about the leg and some sexy fishnets. They are stunning on her. There are also distinctive fashions for you men too. Go see her and be ready to try some cool clothes on.
Then go have lunch and get a drink at one of those terrific little restaurants nearby and revel in your finds.

A few weeks ago, I wandered into Chapter Four near what I thought was the opening time of 11 AM. It was Monday and actually they were closed. However, the manager was kind enough to let me wander around and buy something if I was so inclined.
Chapter Four reminds me a bit of «By Hand» in Berkeley in terms of their unique styles of men’s and women’s fashions. The store also has a nice funky feel and offers a cool and quality selection of messenger bags, journal covers, and wallets (including Hlaska). The next time in town, I intend to take a much closer look.

I love to check out this shop any chance I get. Very cool, unique style of clothes for both the ladies and the gents… I found my absolute favorite hat ever here too! good accessories**Funky fresh without being too overdone or outlandish. good quality. wish there was a bit more“affordable” pieces but I can wait for a sale if I must. I can splurge once in a while too and this store is worth a gander!

Chapter Four has been taunting me from its N. Albina street location, conveniently perched kitty-​corner from Albina Press. Lately it seems my walks to Albina Press have become more and more frequent, so today I gave in to the siren call of pretty dresses and chic accessories that were lulling me from the store windows.
Chapter Four is one of the better shops I’ve seen in PDX. They carry some local, but mostly international designers* at fair prices**. And the darling and friendly owner doesn’t hesitate to throw down a sale sign. We are in the midst of a season change at the moment, so I wouldn’t always expect to see so many 50% tags, but I can really appreciate the markdown. To me, 10% off is not a sale. See what I’m saying?
Chapter Four carries men’s and women’s and if you are at all interested in dressing with some style and definitely some funkiness, head over to Albina, grab a coffee then cross the street to peruse the high quality delights in this store.
*I will not apologize for appreciating international designers. Yes, local is great, but when its all you can find here and so far out of price range, then international I will go. Thank you, that is all.
**You guys, I love Forever 21. Hell, I love the SALE rack at Forever 21. But when it comes to high quality, stylish pieces that I plan on wearing for many a season (as opposed to one night out) then I’m willing to throw down. A little. Not too much. But a little.
