Everyone writes reviews for different reasons. I find that I love the opportunity to express my gratitude for a service that deserves more than payment.
I have met with Catherine when the need has arisen since first writing a review. I want to update that review because she has made an immense difference in my life. As I seek out ways to walk the Earth with increased peace, I encounter areas of potential in my own growth.
Catherine has an innate and incredible ability to guide a client through crisis and/​or self-​awareness and has become a fantastic resource for me. Amazing healing happens in her presence. Sometimes it is instant and pain disappears from a once inflamed area. Other times, a wound is re-​opened, it is allowed to bleed, and the attention the wound needs to heal takes place. I feel my body growing back together –fresh new cells growing and scar tissue being replaced by vital and dynamic nourished flesh.
So maybe if you’re wondering what Hakomi is… it is like a soul ointment. Catherine is a surgeon, resetting fractures that have previously healed in deformed and painful knots. I’m so appreciative of the healing I receive and will continue seeking counseling with Catherine as I see fit. I would recommend her to anyone in search of self-​discovery, betterment, and healing from pain.

I went to see Catherine for some counseling when I was experiencing a number of losses and challenges in my life. I felt a sense of safety and comfort working with her even though I had never experienced Hakomi therapy before. She encouraged me to move into what I was feeling and that process helped me calm my anxiety and observe my circumstances in a new way. I have been incorporating the tools that I learned in my session in my daily life.

Catherine is awesome. Very kind and easy to talk to. She has done an amazing job at helping me gain self awareness and has helped to guide me in finding my own answers so that I can live the life I’ve always dreamed of. The great thing about Hakomi is that it integrates and explores the connection between mind/​body/​emotion and Catherine is a pro at it. Overall she has helped me continue to grow as a person in all areas of my life. I will continue seeing Catherine and would highly recommend her to anyone that wants a happier, more successful life.

Catherine is amazing at what she does. My wife and I started seeing her recently and came in asking for couples counseling. With very little information she quickly understood that we needed help getting through something together and came up with a beautiful way to help us help each other with it. She is down to earth, funny and very intuitive. We felt comfortable with her right away and able to make a lot of progress because of that. I highly recommend her, especially for people who are uncomfortable with the idea of counseling generally and with Hakomi specifically. She will help you work through hard stuff without it feeling hard.

I found Catherine through a friend and found her engaging and trustworthy right away. In our first session I was trying to navigate and articulate a deep but hard to reach memory of my childhood. Her skill in helping revisit that place as my surrogate partner, as a witness to what I was feeling, gave me great strength in being able to go there not alone but with a companion along that I could share the experience of how it FELT there one step at a time. Her sensitivity and guidance through feeling your way through things as a apposed to talking your way though things was quite remarkable. As a result I have experienced great insight and was able to carry that experience into my conscious awareness in a way that has continued to transform how I approach the world.
