My favorite place to drink. On a quiet Monday or a busy Saturday, I always have a good time. They have friendly bartenders, especially Mason. They have great prices for drinks. Love this place!

I will say this is a warning for people who want to make a bad review to this place. Some months ago I made a comment about this place and the owner threatened me in many ways. He found me on Facebook and he sent me a private message, now I will publish it. The message he sent me I had to take the picture because I could not find a way of being able to put here. Please look at the photos I put below. I also received another message from a worker there, I think it’s very professional, I will show the message too. I just want to make this public because if something happens to me everyone will know who it is who did it.

While the bartender was delightful, the clientele was a bit of a let down. There was a toothless woman dancing and squirreling around, changing the juke box every few minutes and really annoying the other patrons. What’s worse is that then a man and woman came in with two seven year olds and a baby in a stroller. While nobody batted an eye, the entire scene left me feeling rather sick.

Oh my god. What fucking gay bar plays fucking FOO FIGHTERS?! Ones owned by either straight people, or those masc4masc motherfuckers that no one gives a shit about. Avoid, go to a real gay establishment.

Very friendly bartenders and staff. This bar is very comfortable and welcomes everyone.

To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect when I first saw this place but upon entering and ordering I was truly impressed. The buy one get one free happy hour was phenomenal! (Gay bars seem to always have the best prices for some reason.) Gay or straight, this bar is great! EVERYONE should stop in for a drink at Casey’s!

Friendly, fun. Cute place. Looks like it is still searching for an identity. They had a good variety and a good bartender. Location is fun. Might return for the rumchata.

I like that this bar doesn’t really have an identity so much that you can tell right from the start. Is it a gay bar? Is it a straight bar? I’ve been here when there was SRO, and I have been here when there was no one inside. You can never tell who is going to be here. I’ve brought gay friends and hetero friends here, and no one has felt uncomfortable in this place. Soundproofing would be great in the space so that you can turn the music up occasionally, but if you enjoy a cold draft and good conversation with great friends, why go anywhere else?
I will admit that some bartenders should make the experience about the customer and not about themselves, but you will have that anywhere you go. It is a full bar and the beer that I like is there and it’s always cold, so I have nothing to complain about in that regard. The owner has been known to try new things from time to time. If you’re so inclined to have a beer on tap, ask him to try it and perhaps he will put it on tap for you. Shots are always readily available and I have heard that they make a good drink, so if that’s your thing… The food used to be good, but health reasons require a diet of less bar food, so I haven’t eaten here in a while but the Jalapeño burger thing was freaking amaze-​balls. This is a really awesome place. Give it a shot if you haven’t and tell the bartender Shawn to just serve a drink and shut up.

Rude bartender, shitty service and coming from someone in the service industry I hate posting negative reviews but I would imagine that the bartender would be appreciative of the 10 customers we brought into the empty bar but unfortunately he acted annoyed we bothered him patronizing the establishment I most will not make this mistake again

It is sad that the owner doesn’t openingly accept his LGTB clientele, but the staff is wonderful. Great drink specials. Only bar food now, but still pretty good. Oh, did I say the staff was awesome?

This club has everything except sexually-​attractive people & loud music. The food is pretty good, drinks are good, bartenders are friendly (as of 10÷18÷14), GOOD pool table, nice space, great happy hour deals & it’s in the heart of downtown Portland. The main downers are the druggies that hangout side begging for change/​cigarettes (which isn’t their fault) and they can’t turn the music up too loud because neighbors are upstairs & the people there aren’t very sexually-​attractive (in my opinion). Good place to dive in & get turnt before hitting up another club.

Wonderfully kind bartenders who remember your name, patrons that are very welcoming and non shady with food that is fabulous. You have to try the french fries, they taste home made and made to order! I’ll be back–

Awful. We went here day before labor day with a groupon and were practically drooling at the pictures and menu descriptions. Come to find out (after ordering and waiting so long we’d already finished our drinks) they were out of the ingredients needed to make our meal! We ordered again from what they said they did have and again the waiter left for a while, came back and said they couldn’t make that either!
We left hungry.
I should’ve known something was weird when the bartender looked at me like I was an alien after I said I wasn’t there for just beer. The door was open and the stench of cigarettes filled the place. I really wanted to like it because our server was nice even if the bartender looked at us like slugs.
There were no other women present. Just older men with their booze and cigarettes.
Save your money and your lungs and go else where.

Although a nice space, the bartender needs some customer service training… I get to the bar and order a beer (not the most expensive drink, obviously, and one of the easiest to serve on a busy Friday night), $ 4.75. A little above average, by about .50 cents, but hey, new place and really what is a few cents more… But what irks me is that I gave the bartender (tall young blonde guy) $ 5 and he acted like «Pfft, really?» went to his till made change and threw the change directly into his tip jar with attitude like I stiffed him! I had a dollar out to tip him, as I always tip being in the industry myself, but after that display (and the assumption of just taking the change without asking) there was no way I was going to leave it for him, period. Fine, that became your tip… Enjoy your piece of bubblegum.
Not a good 1^st impression of a new bar! Do you think, Casey, that I want to give you business when I can go to an established bar down the way, pay less and get better service? Even if it is the «same old, same old» at least I feel appreciated there… This new place will go the way of the other gay bar that was there before, and deservedly so. Too bad as I wanted to like it, but attitude is everything, babe.

Still loving Casey’s, and the new location! Having food there now is awesome, you don’t have to leave to go eat. 2 for 1 HH drinks are great. Love the new bartenders, especially Seth. He’s a sweetie and super fun.

Love the décor and the service has been great. Seth is a real sweetheart. My lady loves the hummus platter. I’ve had their burgers. They have a fancy new jukebox. The food takes too long though. That could be faster.

This bar is a pathetic excuse for existence. I went in for a drink with some coworkers trying to look for a new spot. Then the asshole bartender just gave my card away to some drunk guy who apparently charged multiple shots on my tab and walked away with my card because the so called bartender asked him if he was me. Don’t waste your time on this place or get robbed

The food was great. The portions were huge. We came for the food, not the drinks. We did not realize it was a gay bar until after we visited the bathrooms. The music was eclectic. Definitely would go back for lunch.
