CasaMaria is one of the last rooming houses in Portland. It’s a wonderful place to stay either short term or long. A great old building with old world charm like steam radiators, classic features, and tastefully decorated private rooms. Some even have views of Mt Hood and Mt St Helens. Average rent is $ 485 with $ 300 deposit, $ 200 refundable. All utilities are included, along with free fast Wifi in room. There is a community room with a large screen TV with cable and DVD player. You can also order your own cable in room. Adequate bathrooms and kitchen is shared, and comes with your own fridge and pantry. Your private room comes with new linens. Located in North Portland with a good walk score, all needs are close-​by including the Yellow Line and busses. The building is well kept with maid service and fire safety is in place. Your neighbors are friendly but respect privacy. I found the place accommodating and enjoyed my stay here this winter and would highly recommend CasaMaria!
