Carole has a great way of bringing light-​heartedness, compassion, and humor into teaching you how to see sculpture, as she guides you in the use of tools and materials and through your own creative process.

Carole Murphy teaches sculpture classes and is a fabulous teacher. She gathers all sorts of creative and fun people and teaches them at the level they need. Whether it is how to use tools and materials or how to design the curve of a body just so, she is talented, knowledgeable and generous. Definitely a fun class no matter what level you are at…

Carole’s classes are all hands-​on. We each work on our own sculpture, Carole is very attentive. She is always there to help when I am ready for help, but lets me struggle to figure out how to get what I want out of my piece. I’m learning subtractive sculpture by doing it with the best tutor one could ask for. She is kind, knowledgeable and intuitive. I come away exhausted but satisfied because I’m am now a sculptor, thanks to Carole.
