Such a cute place. Wonderful variety. Great place for an impromptu picnic. Six of us ladies got together for our monthly social. We shared a bottle of chilled Sauvignon Blanc wine for the hot day. We shared a large butter board sampler with toast and we all got to try the butters many times.

First let me state that I’ve never been to another butter shop. I’m not a gourmet foodie, chef or aficionado by any means. I have seen the movie «Butter» (2011) which is great fun, I recommend it. I also like to eat it. Staring at the colorful and enticing logs of sweet and savory flavors however, my mind could only muster up «toast». While that’s one way to use it, the friendly woman behind the counter easily gave me an idea for every flavor when I asked «What could I do with it?» The Sriracha on steak, the lime on fish, the Dulce de leche to bake with, and so on. I was inspired. I took home some Orange Honey butter that is delicious on toast. When the butter is so good there’s no need to get fancy. If fancy is your thing, well I can only image this butter will up your game! If you want to make a meal or party special this shop can help you do it. If you want to make your significant other breakfast in bed but lack any kitchen skills… two words… buttered toast.

Delightful spot! I read about it in The Bee, our local newspaper for Sellwood. It’s a completely lovely store with offerings of delicious butters, cheese, and wine. The butter is apparently handmade there. So yummy! The butter I purchased was decadent and hand wrapped and placed in the most adorable round container. It would be a perfect house warming gift. Basically I just wanted to eat spoonfuls of the butter nonstop. I wish this business the best of luck! I think it’s a fantastic idea and I cannot wait to try all of their offerings.
