I’ve been curious about Burgerville ever since I moved up here from out of state. First I would like to say that the intercom employee was polite and had a great smile. This makes receiving food that much more enjoyable. I ordered the vegetarian bean burger and my boyfriend ordered the Tillamook cheeseburger. Too much mayonnaise I must point out. The bean patty itself wasn’t bad — nor did it rock my socks off. The amount of sauce really distracted from the natural and fresh flavors that their food has. The waffle fries were delicious and didn’t make it all the way home(but what order of fries does?!) I don’t know if my burger was worth the $ 4 something dollars I paid for it. I would go back for an order of fries and maybe a milkshake but that’s it. It’s just not my type of food.

Good and bad. Ordered a cheeseburger and shake. Tyler taking my order super nice, asked the shake girl if they still had a certain shake because I asked about it, shake girl really rude. When I got my shake from the counter I said«thank you», she just stared at me and continued to talk to a friend that was standing at the counter, no you’re welcome or anything. Shake was really good, but the cheeseburger was… meh. Cheese not melted at all and meat super thin. Whatever.

I probably don’t need to state the obvious but as far as fast food drive thru joints in the NW go, Burgerville takes the cake! I have never actually been inside of the store, but since I live close by, let’s just say that the late night drive thru and I are more than friends. The food is always consistent to BV standard and the service is always impeccable. Sometimes they are very very busy due to blazer games at the nearby Moda center, but even so, the staff is always great and sometimes they’ll knock a few bucks off your order if you wait a while in the drive thru line. Burgerville is kinda my secret boyfriend that I’m not ready to tell people about yet.

My girlfriend, brother, and I went to the drive-thru. This is my first burger in Portland, and it was up to par! I ordered the Tillamook Cheese Burger and fries. The bun is a hell of a lot better than Five Guys, but the burger itself was a bit thin. The fixings are really good, and I have no complains about this burger, but there wasn’t really a wow factor on this one. I must say though, Tillamook has great dairy products.

Pretty good value if you’re looking for a quick bite before a Blazers game. I didn’t notice anything particularly spectacular but it’s pretty cool that everything is locally sourced and they appear to have a vested interest the community.

Love. Love. Love the sustainability movement of locally grown produces and free range beef for burgers. I had the pepper bacon with bleu cheese which was amazingly delicious! A simply menu and throwback to the classic menu of my parents generation with the nostalgic Coke décor, it’s was fast and efficient for the large lunch crowds it appears to draw. Highly recommend this place for a quick and filling lunch.

Very poor service. I’ve been waiting for an hour for a takeout order. The staff are filling orders for people sitting at booths rather than filling takeout orders I’m very close to asking for a refund. DON’T EATHERE!!!

Sadly disappointed. Heard good things but none lived up to the hype. Fries were sub par and burger was nothing to write home about. Giving two stars because I haven’t had their other menu items. But based on what I had wouldn’t bother going back for anything else. Better off eating Wendy’s or McDonald’s. In-N-Out has these guys beat on their worst day.

Yikes. Whoever said, «If you like In-N-Out, then you’ll like Burgerville» had to have been stoned. The onion rings were good but the burgers were definitely no bueno. Milkshake was average at best. This is probably going to sound harsh, but even Wendy’s has better burgers. :(I’m only giving an extra star for decent service.

Not sure why I’m even bothering with 2 stars. The drive through service was fine but the food was room temperature. The lettuce was fresh, so there’s that.

I live across the street from this Burgerville so it’s hard to not give it five stars out of sheer sentimentality. They keep the place appropriately clean and the staff performs well even during peak hours when they get hit with rushes of people from the nearby office buildings. Overall this Burgerville is one of the better fast food establishments I have been to but they could do better by vegans than just the one vegetarian patty.

In-N-Out has a slightly inferior rival in Burgerville. The latter has a fantastic location right near the Oregon Convention Center. It has lots of tables and even a good nineteen fifties atmosphere. There is a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, so you can get Fanta Zero Grape. Employees here typify friendly service. I went in for a fairly low-calorie meal on a diet. What I ordered was the original hamburger combo. It was only $ 5.12, which seems good, but the portion was small. The burger was tiny and so were the fries, but the beverage was nice and refillable. I was joyous that the fries were particularly crispy and the burger seemed to have quality meat. Overall, I would probably reccomend Joe’s Burger which almost clones In-N-Out at times. Burgerville provides a fun experience for most who walk through their doors.

Its burgers are better then your average fast food burgers. BV likes to source locally and the food is better for it. The ice cream products ROCK! The fries are so so, kinda disappointing the bigger burger behemoth all do better fries. They have cool machines for your coke drinks, To bad they keep running out of the syrups here, it sucks to pay for a drink and then to find they don’t have the syrup for any of your top 5 choices. Really that happened to me just last night! Kewl stufr: They are also the only fast food chain that is so pro recycling! They have Free WIFI Back to the ice cream products, They have their own area here. That’s right the sign says MILKshakes, not just«Shakes» like some of the bigger burger behemoth. Note to management. you want my 4th star? You know you do! For you its easy, Keep my favorite syrops in stalk and its yours. That is what kept you away from it. I have made my peace with your so-so fries, its called ketchup.

Best. Raspberry. Lemonade. Ever! So good. Even took a picture of it to remember it by(I think it’s seasonal). It probably had half a cup of real crushed raspberries in it. I was very impressed. The regular fries were not spectacular but the walla walla onion rings were! Except the price was 10 huge onion rings for $ 10…seems a bit extreme. Easy walk from the hotel in downtown where we are staying for our Portland vacation.

Good food, but this location is just terrible. Panhandlers hang out in the parking lot, lots of nasty obnoxious customers and everything had a greasy sheen to it. When I wasn’t being bothered for spare change, it was overhearing details about people’s personal lives that was being broadcasted across the entire dining area. I had the Tillamook Cheeseburger and it was a very decent burger, especially for fast food. It was kind of pricey at five dollars, but since everything is locally sourced and it was a good burger I will overlook the price. I had one of their seasonal shakes a while back, and it was one of the better shakes I have had from a fast food place. They also have a Freestyle Coke machine, which is a big incentive to come here over some other fast food places. I’ll be back to Burgerville at some point in the future, just not this location. It’s above average fast food, and since every chain seems to have gone downhill in the past few years it’s nice to have an option like Burgerville.

Forever and always will love burgerville. Wonderful, quality food from a great company. I love their cheeseburgers and seasonal selections. Their walla walla onion rings are out of this world. One time they announced price reductions. Like, who does that? Great company.

I needed a quick dinner and was headed across town on a Saturday night. Burgerville was the saving grace. With a bit of hesitation, I stopped into the Burgerville near Lloyd Center. My thoughts changed quickly. I had the cheeseburger and a side of Rosemary Shoestring Fries(with Jacobsen Salt) with garlic aioli. Q: What is a fast food restaurant doing serving garlic aioli? Isn’t it just mayo? A: Burgerville ain’t just another fast food restaurant. That’s why there’s Rosemary Shoestring Fries. That’s why there’s garlic aioli. That’s why there’s chocolate hazelnuts milkshakes. And it’s not just any old mayo. It’s so pumped full of garlic the ingredients list probably reads: Garlic, then mayo. Expectations: Questionable clientele(me excluded) due to location Messy dining area due to high traffic 5 – 6 staff working Reality: Calm, cool, collected clientele(me excluded) Clean, bright dining area HUGE staff Conclusion: Thank god there’s a Burgerville in the Lloyd Center area.

No I don’t eat meat — but I DO love coming to Burgerville for the locally sourced, sustainable, albeit expensive veg options. This is a great location to come pre-events at Moda Center(previously known as the Rose Garden), and actually save a little dough — while getting better quality than you’re going to get inside the venue. Plus there’s garlic aioli for your fries, seriously. Then there’s the monthly special shakes: marionberry, pumpkin, raspberry, strawberry — oh and these can be smoothies(made with yogurt as well). AND they have quite a few different veggie burger options. So there.

3.7 stars. If the price was 15% cheaper it would be 4 stars. The onion rings were awesome. The dill ranch was the best ranch i have tried. The walla walla burger was good, but i wish they put more of the sauce that goes in because the sauce was really good but there were so little there. They should have better quality meat to raise their ratings.

I moved from Portland four years ago and have missed Burgerville. I got my chance to have it again after a twelve hour day helping produce a convention event. I walked my tired legs up the hill and ordered three hamburgers and a garlic rosemary french fry. The employees were really friendly. You know you’re in Portland when the store manager has black rimmed glasses and arms of tattoos. My order did seem to take a while but it was well worth the wait! I took my four years in the making meal back to my hotel room. When I got to my room my key didn’t work so I had to trek back to the front desk while my food slowly cooled(@#&!). I slipped off my sweaty shoes, kicked back in my hotel room office chair and methodically devoured every bite of the three burgers. I then picked apart the french fries. My breathe stunk. My blood pressure increased. My room smelled of greasy garbage. I went to bed happy. Pacific Northwest: We’ll trade you Culver’s for Burgerville. Deal? signed — The Midwest
